Second, the defense won't improve under any coach in the world, if we stay with the current roster of CBs and wing-backs
I would like us to negotiate a better deal for Bojan - somewhere in the region of 15 million Euros + bonuses based on CL qualification/progression to knock-out stages...He may well fluorish under Zeman and then Barca will either take him back or require us to pay a higher fee... The sum I have stated comes from his age and the potential - I do not rate him lower than Lamela at this stage of the career...
For comparison, a player like Gabbiadini is worth about 7m. Bojan isn't going to come at 7, I think that is a bit too low. I see 10-13

Lamela we really don't know yet, he still could become one of the best players in the world. Especially if he moves to a more traditional winger role.
I disagree, I see his long term future in the centre. But what we do know is Zeman will make him a better all round footballer as he will with all the players, but Lamela I see being his potential star, just like a young Totti when he was trying to find his feet. He may well end up playing as a wide forward next year under him though. Bojan I would think he around 10-12 million but because he is contracted to Barca that fee wrongly goes up with the reputation at around 15+. He could also flourish under Zeman and he could make him a really show what he can do. I think Roma are in a difficult position with him, unless they take the risk and try to buy him outright now for a smaller fee, maybe just test the water with a 8-10 million bid incase Barca are willing to cut ties with him.
