Yes I agree that coach must become lately in spring, 1-2 months is sufficient time for find the new coach.

Transfers (incomes and outcomes) must be coach choices and meets the coach needs not Sabatini choices , who he can get from market.

Zeman without winning anything has done something the majority of coaches could only dream of. He tooks a mediocre team from Serie C into Serie A on the brink of UEFA qualification. What big name coach has accomplished anything similar? What did Conte do at small Serie B teams aside turning a blind eye to match fixing. Or Allegri? That's why Zeman is studied, because he did what everyone in the sports labelled a miracle. They've made documentaries on the man, you think Allegri will get a documentary.

And if we are to be honest it's not like he was awarded many more opportunities. After the miracle of Foggia, he went to Lazio were he improved and arrived second. Then he had his Roma stint. After that he was blacklisted by Moggi and spent the next decade only being employed by mediocre teams. And out of the mediocrity he pulled another miracle out in taking a team who's goal was avoiding relegation into Serie C and bringing team into Serie A.

And while I believe it was time to end the rapport with Zeman and that he made a ton of errors in this second stint. I hope people here can appreciate that there is a half city who's hearts are bleeding right now. Because we remember what that man sacrificed when he was our coach and when everyone else was happy turning a blind eye.

So you want Lamela and Pjanic on the bench?

But what you think what coaches are suitable for our current squad? Coach with his known tactics?

Because if we do 1 player in the whole, we all know its going to be Totti, thus Pjanic and Lamela will be on the bench.

I'm sure he was blacklisted by most clubs for over a decade because of what he uncovered at Juve with the drugs and what have you. Juve brought on Del Neri but they would never hire someone like Zeman for talking and same goes for Milan and Inter.

How about we hire a manager before we start pronouncing we know what will happen.

Of course he was blacklisted, Moggi decided all of those things. And of course now that he's gone you suddenly find courageous presidents who admit they wanted to sign Zeman but Moggi advised them it would be against their interest.

I think that Lamela can play as midfielder-traquartista(attacking midfielder)-winger-second striker-center forward. He has multitalent (speed, passes, shooting skill, tehnique).

Lamela has shown his defensive work as well in the right flank this season.

If we are looking in Serie A, I'd love Guidolin. But obviously he'd be someone to look at in the summer.

Right now, really no one of worth is really available that would want to manage Roma.

    Playing

    Striker 1 - Striker 2
    Treq or Attacking mid
Totti and Pjanic will be chosen in that spot ahead of Lamela.
    I would play
    Destro
    Marquinho-Pjanic-Lamela

No doubt. Moggi was the man back then and ran the league.

I don't even know how to make a list of possible managers. Nobody seems good right now and in the summer I can't see anyone good taking what's becoming a poisoned chalice of a job. I do think we should probably just ride out the rest of the year with a caretaker. Open a wide net in the summer and give him a market to get a couple players.

I would actually loved to see what Harry Rednapp would have done in a caretaker role if he wasnt at QPR.

But he seems to bankrupt every club he has managed, so I dont know if it would be bright to have him.

I honestly want someone who has ZERO experience at Roma.

Total ignorance from the loud mouthed poster ranting about what Zeman has won....shows little to know knowledge....If you wanted to win in Italy at that time you had to sell your soul to the devil. Zeman refused to do so...The same poster who trolls Juve's boards lol totally clueless

If I recall, back when I lived in Italy 8-10 years ago , Cosmi was being courted by Roma.
