Does anyone know where to find the number or headquarters for club tijuana? I'm doing a search but i can't find a single thing. I'm trying to get a hold of the front office, but i'm having no luck. Anyone have any ideas for searches? i can't find anything on their clubtijuana web page.
From the FMF website: Club Tijuana Presidente: Jorgealberto Hank Inzunza Nombre Popular: Xoloitzcuintles Calle: Blvd. Agua Caliente No. 12027 Colonia: Hipódromo Estado: Baja California Municipio: Tijuana CP: 22420 Teléfono/s: 01 664 633 73 00 Ext. 4527 Fax: 01 664 681 76 23
Yea just to let you guys know the official website is now up and running.. it went maintenance for a while www.xolos.com.mx
Didn't Club Tijuana get relegated to the segunda división (third tier)? If so that would suck because that stadium is nice.
I had read that on wikipedia, but then I read something that contradicted the relegation. I think the CT/Xolos wiki was just vandalized and the team made it to 1-A playoffs (losing a semi, maybe?).
Apparently they were going to be relegated last season but I believe the FMF changed the rules at the last moment.
a year ago the team lost the primera division a category, but the FMF changed the rules adding more teams to the primera a giving tijuana a spot and adding irapuato and Mérida F.C. last season the team made it to semi finals .they won the opening game at home 1-0 but they lost the second game in queretaro 3-1(3-2 global)..... so far this season the team has been playing pure away games(their first home game is in one week on february 25), because their finishing the first face of the stadium and their installing artificial grass, trying to get it ready for the premundial sub 17 thats going to be played in tj from april 21 to may 2
I am trying to get hold of a medium or large Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente replica jersey - as far as i can tell, you can't buy off the official website (only at the stadium) - and the couple of online shops I have tried do not have them (onlythe 1a teams) and nothing on Ebay either - anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks in advance
Hey everyone, I am from San Diego and recently took a tour of the Maquilas and met some Maquiladoras from the movie Maquilapolis. Anyways, I was talking to a few of the locals in Tijuana and they told me that Tijuana had a team. So here I am, a gringo that wants to go to Club Tijuana games. When the next season starts, is there a supporters group in San Diego that travel down and back together? I am not so much afraid of crossing the border, I just want to be involved with the supporters. Thanks friends. -Aaron
I'm a native San Diegan who just moved back in August after 18 years. Been following SDSU men and also got to go to the NCAA 2nd round men's match, USD v. UCSB. But once I get my passport (damn thing!), I want to go to a match. I'm just curious how much tickets are. Also, I hear stories in Europe about how you sometimes need to purchase tix from supporters clubs. Does the front gate in TJ sell them?
Bump. I hear you. I guess I wouldn't be breaking any laws of fútbol if I support Tijuana, after all they are still Liga de Ascenso. I just long for a Mexican team to support that is relatively close to home so I don't have to shell out hundreds of dollars to go fly and see them.
Chuleta Orozco, Felix ayala and fernando santana have been released by Xolos http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/mexico/noticias/2011/11/09/chuleta-orozco-tercera-baja-de-xolos
yea im from san diego and there is a huge fan base here now even up in orange county see a lot of there jerseys and car stickers,,even though I've been rooting for chivas for years i gotta go for the local club too ,,would be nice to see a big name join the team and preferrebly mexican
