As most of you may know, Necaxa won 1-0 at home in their 1st game of the season. Went to the game and although they say one shouldn't complain when your club pulls out a win, I wasn't impressed. They scored the goal early and after that, they played defense the entire game. There were no real opportunity for a second goal. In fact Merida had more chances a tying. Well, I hope this was a cause of the players not yet knowing each other well.
Good win by the boys. Didn't see the whole game but from what I saw I thought they looked good. 7 points and up to the 6th spot in the table...for now.
I went to the game and yeah they played better but at times it was a lot of sloppy play... one thing I noticed is that when they get close to the goalie area, they can't seem to penetrate. Yeah I know they scored 3 goals but still, I don't know... this isn't the same club that dominated the liga de ascenso 2 years ago; that team was motivated and on a mission. I don't see that with this team...hopefully I'm wrong and they'll get better. But why complain right? 3 pts is 3 pts. So far it looks like pumas y la piedad are the clubs to beat. Lets see how Necaxa does against them. Vamos Necaxa!
