I did that once, stopped at Yuriria for a while and then headed down to Moroleón. Cheap threads!

I'm cool with Boselli, but this is becoming a sad pattern with León. Bringing in players who are trying to revive their careers isn't a guarantee that they'll be able to contribute. It's not a retirement home! Hopefully Boselli regains his form and scores some much needed goals. Sebastián Maz is still doing some rehab work, so we need someone to step up in his absence.

From Boselli's twitter, his daughter getting ready for Mexico:

Remember Gio and Vela got little playtime in England and are doing well in Spain.

If he shows his estudiantes form then this will be a great signing for Leon

I think he will definitely step up to the plate. From the little footage I've seen, he seems to be a finisher with a killer instinct.

This is kind of a screwy deal. The foreigner spot he previously held was given to Boselli. Maz was waiting for this naturalization papers so that he could be registered with León as a Mexican. Bad timing I guess. The immigration/naturalization papers didn't arrive by the deadline established by FEMEXFUT so he can't play in official games with León this season because they'll exceed the number of extranjeros a team can roster.
Maz will probably finish out his rehabilitation with León, practice with the team, etc., but will basically be inactive for 6 months.

yeah but the messed up thing is that he maz has a point he said he has lived & played in Mexico longer than chaco or lobos, or basanta yet they got the naturalization papers before him so he got screwed over

A good 3 points to start. I hope Arizala is not injured for long.

Arizala out at least for one week, so he won't play against Atlas. Running some tests on his left leg to make sure it won't need longer to heal.

Arizala out for three weeks, at least. What a way to start the season.

On another more humorous note, the new team uniforms were presented yesterday and the fans in attendance booed! Among the complaints: the design makes our jerseys look a lot like Pachuca's and Santos'. Check out the video, fan discontent can be heard at the 50th second of the video. And its very nice to see that even though Sebastián Maz can't play this season, he's still there with the team.

Al estilo Pachuca. Eso es lo que lo hace ver corriente. El diseño no esta horrible como mucha gente dice.

León tied with Atlas, 1-1 in the 42nd minute.
    Line-up for León:
    W.Yarbrough; J.Magallón, R.Márquez, E. Hernández, I.González; C.Peña, J.Vázquez, E.Hernández, D.Burbano; M.Boselli, M.Britos. D.T. G.Matosas

Boselli gets his first start and Gullit back in the starting 11 after the Copa de Oro disaster. Montes on the bench. Not the best stream, but: http://tribunatv-5a.blogspot.com/p/ch5_20.html#www.rojadirecta.me

León is playing aggressively. After being close a couple of times, Boselli scores and ties the game. Kind of a rough game, lots of hard fouls (two yellows in the first 30 minutes, I think).
