My grandmother is from BariVecchia.... I am actually a bigger Miccoli fan than Cassano though. They don't like him but you can't deny Miccoli. Should have swapped him and cassano in 2005 when they had the chance

I don't get why Miccoli doesn't really play all that much at Palermo. Is he injured?

An absolute must read for anyone that reads Italian. Article from the La Repubblica which speaks about some of the nasties hidden inside the vendor due diligence. The author refers to AS Roma as a "debt factory" and put's the Sensi family on blast for going around creating a mountain of debt with UniCredit's money, dispelling the idea that they spent their own money. He lists a bunch of players that are still owned money, along with gardeners, trainers, medics, and more. The absolute worst bit is they cite they were using retirees as consultants, that's the same thing the freaking mafia does when they put cars and houses in the name of retirees. They even had a freaking surveyor under contract getting 70,000 euros a year. Can you freaking believe that? What the heck do we need a freaking surveyor for? Are we in the construction industry? Then you have to sell Aquilani to pay for the debts!!!!!!!! Ste merde!!!

    Gestione virtuosa, dove stai?

Remember this when you see some idiot try to martyr these crooks.

Why are we paying money to land surveyors and child pediatricians??? Why???

Was in a pub at Via Capo d'Africa (Varco Attivo) on the stroke of midnight and the roar of delight was fascinating - so much joy, relief and hope.

The American flags at Stadio Olympico Saturday were touching.

    Forza Roma!

Bruno Conti tries to defend himself after La Republicca outed that he got a loan from AS Roma for 200,000 euros while the club struggled to pay it's players and continued ammasing it's mountain of debt.

I personally would like to know why with his contract and salary of 500,000 euros a year he wasn't able to go to a bank like everyone else on this Earth does? Hope he's got his bags ready, because after Rosella he going to be following Prade out the door. No way they keep him in the club with this kind of stuff being in the books they examined.

The best bit is he mentions sending AS Roma's lawyer to examine the possibility of suing the paper. The irony being that clearly UniCredit and the Americans leaked all this information in order to help them clean house this summer. Might want to consider using your own lawyer Brunetto mio.

I get so freaking angry, these cheating lying crooks. Stole and cheated at every last opportunity. There are 100 different suits over unpaid invoices, with everyone from Batistuta to the hospital we (used to) send our players too.

The bit that irks me is all the lying, if a business is failing I can accept that there is a factor that is probably out of your control. However the continous lying at every opportunity. Rosella kept insisting Soros never existed and no one was interested in AS Roma. Then the newspaper outed the e-mails from Soros and suddenly Rosella starts saying "well with Soros I was badly advised." Then all this never ending bullsh!t about "gestione virtuosa" and "il scudetto dei bilanci." I guess we are like Moggi's Juventus we need to give back our scudetto dei bilanci because someone got caught cheating.

I can't think of anything bad enough for this family, they would have driven this thing into bankruptcy stealing what they could and then taken the name and logo and started a new company from the bottom of the leagues. Thank god they were stopped.

I admired bruno conti, I think legends of his status should never think of director roles and so on. He would destroy his legacy, and I think thats what he did.

I hope Totti once retires, stays away from director role and so on . It might ruin his legacy.

Good someone brought it into English, shame that it's not with the graphics and nice typography of the printed version. I find the graphics help me get even angrier.

Alright so Sensi basically made this club mafia style run.

I am a little bit confused as to why the stocks lost over 50% of value. They bought the shares at .67 it says.

Someone please explain that to me im confused as to what happened

Those bombs sent to Celtic managers should be sent to this disgrace of a family.

I wouldn't be surprised if something similar happened... in fact I'll be surprised if it doesn't.

    Re: American Revolution - April 15th 2011 23:57 - Rosella Vattene IV

They haven't made an offering for the public shares yet, when they will they will only offer .67 euro cents per share. So logically everyone is dumping their shares now while the stock is worth more than .67 cents.

Basically the value of Roma stock was inflated and inaccurate on two fronts. First is the fact that AS Roma as a company has failed and is in a state of bankruptcy. Here I believe in another country Sensi could be tried because she released press release after press release saying things were okay, talking about a virtuous management and healthy books. When in reality there are over a 100 pending suits from people owed money. Secondly the stock was inflated by a large amount of people that bought the stock speculating on the sale price. Not knowing how bad the company was these people might have believed the stock price was an accurate reflection of the value and that the public offering would be for more than they purchased it for.

It's a real shame because there are a lot of good people that are being screwed over here, but as always I maintain that it all goes back to that idiot who pretended AS Roma was her toy. I remember distinctly when she made the rounds on the radio beginning for people to buy stocks. But it was just a scheme to get some quick money, these small holders got screwed over at every turn. Trigoria sold from underneath them without so much as a vote. When they brought up questions at meetings they got ignored, like for example asking what exactly Bruno Conti does at AS Roma.

So this is like the cake, we've eaten Rosella's meal of lies and are being given our dessert now. Shame for those people who bought in thinking they would help build the future of the club. Hopefully this wakes the last few people up to what the reality of the situation is.
