How do you celan the inside of goalie gloves?

I've been cleaning the grip surfaces with paper towels and soapy water, but I can't figure out how to clean the insides, and they're starting to get uncomforable to wear (not to mention smell).

First of all keeper gloves are supposed to stink. In fact, you can tell how good a goalkeeper is by how much his gloves stink. :D

As far as washing gloves, I used to hand wash them in the sink using laundry detergent, and be sure to soak the gloves in the water. For the most part this gets the stink out (for a little while anyway). Then hang them up, and let them air dry.

Ah, the smell of Goalie Gloves, I believe it's a fragrance in France. Nothing better than that smell when you take your gloves off after a hard fought 1-0 win for you. Why would you want to get rid of that smell?

Because my team went 1-15-4 (WLD) this summer, and I'd like to get rid of the stench of my foul play.

Stinky gloves are due to lack of care IMO. Just grab a bar of soap, and bring the glvoes into the shower with you.

Run them under the shower head for a bit (make sure the water isn't scalding hot). Then rub them with soap. Use your fingers to push the dirt out. Then wring them out, but don't fold the fingers downwards, just grab the whole finger. Since the gloves are soaked, there's no damage done to it.

Hang them up on a hanger somewhere away from sunlight, and dry/

I believe the sweat & saliva that is absorbed into the gloves makes them stinks badly. Rinse the pair of gloves in cold water and a soft detergent will help reduce the stink!
