I don't think there is a player that gives more than Dante

If only his finishing was as good as his lungs

If you want a different opinion on that. Visit the Chivas thread. :p You guy's looked scary. I think if we make it that final will be football porn.

Yeah, of course they're upset they got left out by a very "average" Pumas team. But regardless, Pumas went to look for the victory all game. They had more of the ball in the first half and took it to us, but by no means does that mean we bunkered. What are you supposed to do when the other is relentlessly attacking? Defend! We did it pretty well too.

They gassed out in the 2nd half and it showed.

    Average my ass.
We've been the most regular team

Chivas had an average season not us

    Dante,Cacho,Bravo,Palencia all started
The only other striker we could have thrown at them was Izazola

The blueprint has been pretty clear this liguilla

Try to get a result in the first leg, gas them at home

The first part hasn't really worked for us but the second part has been money

We missed a central midfielder that is the reason why we lost so much possession

Cubo is good but too green to win them anything any time soon

Arellano and Venado have shown throughout there careers to be more flash than actual results

Still waiting for Fabian to make the actual jump from promise to reality

Pikolin portero gave Chivas life in the 1st half. He was playing extremely poor and totally without confidence. Pumas was playing well but his mistakes were costing us and then Fabian shot that he made save of but had come from a mistake by him of moving too slow to the left. That was gave Chivas life because it's spread around. Then in the 2nd half. Pikolin portero was another one and had a great game. Then it was Pikolin defensa who was screwing up and giving Chivas life. But when we were settled, we controlled the game and we were the better team throughout. Chivistas have no case.

I would also like to add that Palencia was terrific, especially defensively. He snuffed out a lot of counter attacks and defended the flanks as well.

Palencia a.k.a Ryan Giggs:D There still in good form at that age.

I was only able to watch the second half.
    I Saw:

    Veron playing some total futbol
Pikolin #2 having a solid second half
    Some Defensive mistakes
Orrantia not sharp in this series
Dante running circles around chivas players

Overall great game. Just glad its over because the amount of things being said from the opposing side were pretty ridiculous.

    Morelia it is.

I will be shocked if Morelia only loses Sabah for the 1st leg

Pretty sure i saw Aldo Leao and a couple of others throwing blows

    Good stuff :)

    Let's do this thing.

Morelia (despite their 3-0 game) is not very strong at home. I like our chances of squeezing one more past than they do.

The danger lies in the next game because Morelia is great on the road. But Pumas is great at home as well. And Pumas has never lost a final at home.

I like how Vasquez has been shaping the team as of late. Let's go get #7.

I hope for once the team plays with the same intensity in the road as they do at home

So far it's gone like i predicted

Pumas closing down on any monarca that has the ball

Beside a couple of give aways by Cabrera and Castro, it's been a pretty easy night for the defense

Here's hoping Bravo pulls a crack move and puts up 1-0 in the 2nd half

If Pumas would accompany the winger just once, they could beat the double team on the flanks and squeeze one in.

    Otherwise... zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It would have been nice to leave with an advantage, but the result was more than fair.

Pumas were too isolated to break the double teams up top.

The second leg should be terrific.

its all right 1-1 is not bad we can beat them... after that great goal by palencia morelia reacted very well and our team lacked concentration and also memo vaszquez tried to play defensively too early...
like someone else said before palencia looks like the giggs equivalent, he is almost 38 i think and he was our best man today!!! impressive really

Yeah, great game by Palencia. It seems like the sub was ready before he scored..

A one goal advantage would have been nice, but this isn't terrible either. I am confident we can finish them off at home.

I really hate how Vasquez gets so defensive and plays for the result. It could have cost us against Chivas and it cost us here. Once again we got lucky. The Chiapas sub was a total bust, he didn't do squat. Martin Bravo was garbage today.

I like the result but Morelia looked the better team and it will be tough.
