Great catch unclesox!

 

It was bad enough the way Dundee Utd were cheated out of a European Cup final appearance in 1984 but the abuse they received, not from the fans, but from the Roma players, was downright disgraceful




The picture shows Dundee Utd manager Jim McLean and assistant Walter Smith walking past a barrage of hate from Roma players.

I just love the way Crerand is set up for being part of the wall. Can you imagine the outcry if a modern day footballer adopted that position in a defensive wall.
