Alaba is originally a CM and played LW often for Austria and youth teams. I'm sure if given the amount of time to adjust to the position that he was for LB he would show his class.

Long term I think his ability will warrant competition for midfield positions, particularly if Contento continues developing or we purchase another LB option. However he's by far the best option we've had to partner Lahm at FB since Liza left.

Good line-up. We've got fire power to bring from the bench if necessary, but its important give some key players a rest so that we can go all out for the remaining BL matches prior to the winter break.

Who said Gomez's touch improved? Still looks like a wooden leg/foot.

I tell you, I still like Contento. And I can't shake the belief that he's been done wrong by our managers for 2 years now. He's not as good as Alaba, okay, but the kid can play and should play a lot more than he does.

You can tell none of the players give a damn today. They aren't even running.

Shaqiri has been a dissapointment again. He seems to only play well when the team dominates or the last 20 minutes as a sub when everyone is tired. Meh

You would think the B team would care though, but they're too busy preparing for the bench on the weekend to get tired today.

I'm not going to appologize since it's true even if he plays well today. He's been very poor in even games that he's started and has only played well when the whole team is overwhelming the opposition when he has started.

I hope he improves and he is 20 and young so he has time.
