VS Kick-off: Tuesday April 1st 2014 20:45 CEST, 14:45 EDT, 11:45 PDT. (I think, Europe time changes Sunday according to my sources). Stadium: Old Trafford Referee: TBD Yeah, I know, creating the match thread, it’s early and I’m an outsider as a BVB fan but as I wanted get the honors to start the “rapefest” for this match, especially since its for a match against my most hated club that I now call affectionately “Midtable United”. This one is personal. This match-up is between two managers new to their clubs, but their fortunes could not be much more different. Guardiola has taken last year treble winners and already won the Bundesliga before the quarterfinals with a win over Hertha last weekend, 23 points over BVB, meanwhile David Moyes took last year’s EPL winners to 7th place this season, which I believe is not even enough for the Europa League. And this guy Too early for Line-ups yet, but Dante and Evra are suspended for the first leg. Meanwhile reported United injuries include: Van Persie (knee), Ferdinand (Back), Evans (Calf), Nani (Hamstring), Smalling (Hamstring), Valencia (unspecified), and Vidic (groin). All pulled from Uefa.com, which had no reported player injuries for Bayern, but we know that Thiago and Badstuber are out. Hopefully we’ll see some quality football on Tuesday, and give United a deserved thrashing so we can shut up those jealous British media b*st*rds once and for all. No penalties or red cards this time so they can’t hide behind any excuses. Cheering for you heavily for this clash, make me proud!
Never considered the fact that if Bayern lose it's on me for making the thread, but its not gonna happen, the logo sizes are correct. Naw, BVB fan first for me, all the rest come later, Bayern is the big team I "hate" the least, plus I love the board here so naturally I'm here to socialize. CL is the only cup I could somehow manage to "support" you guys, sorta because I was watching you guys before I became a BVB fan first. Prepare to have your rep-to-post ratios increased on this thread.
can we close and ban chewz until next season? What the ******** is this, and who gave you the right to make a thread over the undefeated BQ? chewz you disappoint me boyo
What is happening here? Who is responsible for such a blasphemy? It's ok as long as we win this. And by this I mean the CL. You did a fairly good job @chewz (could swear you'd make a good Bayern supporter).
@chewz You better start praying. If we lose, I know people who know people in Toronto. That guy in the middle owes me some favor
I expected some resistance to me making the thread, much more than I expected but my initial reaction. Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler In all seriousness though you guys got this. As someone said only one loss this season. Maybe the squad will withhold from scoring because I started the thread , if so I'll hide and not step foot in here until well after the CLs. When you win you guys owe me.
Your in Toronto? That's cool my uncle lives there, went to his wedding there. (Family and I lived in Calgary 16 years) Cool city
If we win then chews and BQ can do it together. (MD threads, you pervs!) Seriously anyone think this is going to be a 1-0 bore fest? I hope to god we got out of our hangover and get our of 2nd gear. My lineup: Neuer Lahm Martinez boateng Alaba Piggy Kroos Robben gotze ribery Muller
I'm coming for you if we don't win, I'll drive up there. If we win, tread carefully regardless. We have to keep like our penalty takers, you lose and then someone else takes the throne.
-------Neuer Rafinha--Martinezz-Boateng--Alaba ------------Lahm Robben--Kroos--Schwein--Ribery ------------Muller
It wouldn't be the end of the world with rafhina here.. But there should be no way in hell we have rafhina vs bale/Ronaldo or neymar...
Eh, with the way Rafinha has played this season, I don't mind him against Neymar. Ronaldo maybe, I'd consider maybe going back to the Schweini/Martinez double pivot for that matchup actually.
As skillful and possession oriented of a team as possible to start the game, then bring on Muller or Mandzukic to finish some goals around 60 minutes or so. --------------------Neuer Rafinha----Martinez---Boateng----Alaba ---------------------Lahm Robben-----Schweini---Kroos-----Ribery ---------------------Gotze For 60 minutes. Maybe we get a goal, maybe it's 0-0. After Man U chase the ball for an hour we can put Muller or Mandzukic on to finish some moves.
Rafinha is playing in a team that's arguably having the most dominant season of their lifetime. I've been watching him for nearly a decade and unless Rafinha has learned how to become a great defender last summer, he certainly shouldn't be starting against the best wingers on the planet. Bale would go against Alaba, and Ronaldo would be Rafinha's opponent.
