You wouldn't think so but then again I didn't think that we'd lose to Leverkusen and draw with Hamburg recently; on paper we should crush them but it depends on which FCBayern shows up. It's not just them, sometimes I think you play to the level of your opponents; I'm on a squad and sometimes we barely beat teams we should crush, and sometimes we whip up on some teams that we thought were much better.
Taken from UEFA I presume. Nothing controversial. http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2012/matches/round=2000265/match=2007688/prematch/preview/index.html
Which game would be more important than a Semi finals vs Madrid in our own stadium. Where the result could determine how far we go in this competition Goodluck playing Breno, Tymoschuk or Buyten vs Madrid at home in place of Boateng
That's exactly the game I'm referring to, the second leg. Besides, the coach and the club obviously rate Tymo and Van Buyten and their ability to come in when needed. You think they sulk every day about how "shit" some of their players are?
I guess it would have just been too much to ask for Tymo to play CB for 1 game. Then again he might get his 1 game at CB vs Real Boateng should pull a DvB, fake it and limp off in the first 10 mins.
If we start worrying about cards now we will be concerned from here on out because it only takes 2 more to miss a game after the first suspension. The only insurance is to have a squad that is larger and deeper than the one that we have. Form and fitness are more important to me than disciplinary concerns at this stage. Any one of the players could end up sitting out a game from here on out because of a card. Ribery sat for a straight red and you can't really do anything about that.
Perspective? They could have easily scored 2 goals already. Woeful finishing and world class GK stopped it however. My biggest concern is the defensive retarded-duo in front of the back 4, failing like they have failed every single game. What's Heynckes reaction?
