It's going to be fascinating to see how the players respond.
It's so important we don't give up an early goal in this one. Anything inside the first 30 minutes and alarm bells will really start blaring.
This will be fun. I fully expect another defeat. Shakhtar are a very good side.
Oh, so I get it. They made you a mod to do the administrative secretary work like creating ********ing threads. As opposed to actually being a useful moderator.
Just win United. Just win.
That is so unnecessary Ben, seriously, move on dude.
I didn't know you were old benni.
Unfortunately, I agree.
Yep. A draw would be a great result...unlikely mind.
We are going to win. Something like 4-1. 2 for RVP, 1 for Rooney, and 1 for Nani.
Is Rooney going to play every single one of our games?
i am more interested to see what happens when Rooney goes off the boil. Moyes mentioned that Kagawa's best position "might be the 10" but will he ever give him a shot there? and more than 45 mins at a time?
EDIT: actually don't think Kagawa will start. in the 45 mins he got on the weekend he drifted inside while Nani stayed largely next to the line. i suspect that "disobedience" will cost him
He shouldn't, but Moyes seems determined. I am hoping he comes on around 60 min mark.
Depends on how hot the granny is I reckon.
Oh we will put a another awful performance and may draw and the apologists will come out, see told you give Moyes time.
This actually crossed my mind on Sat. Initially, I thought Shinji might have been injured, but after finding out it was more of a tactical change, I thought perhaps Kagawa did not listen to the instructions and got sat for that.
well the way Moyes was speaking about him or the way i read the quotes i should say, it came across as "what's the problem with playing Kagawa on the left". and maybe that can be taken further as "i don't see what his problem is with playing left"
my other thought is regarding my earlier post about Rooney going off form is that despite the press hype he isn't really on form in any spectacular way. i mean yes he is getting goals and tracking back and looks more alive but he isn't winning us games which is always the issue with him it seems.
alright or good enough form but still not quite what is expected of him. then again that explosive, anger-fuelled monster seems to have gone now. maybe this is what we should expect of him now?
regardless, all bad signs heading into this game
I expect a lot more than simply hitting a few set pieces.
If Kagawa was in fact subbed for disobeying orders then his street cred just went up by like 10 hundred million.
Scared as hell about this.
Why? Just more potential rope for Moyes to hang himself with.
Gotta see the bigger picture bro.
Just don't see us letting him go for a year. And while I'm starting to be incredibly irked with his performances....I keep thinking back to SAF and how long he got to bed in here. Sometime I don't think we get the massive nature of this job, and we didn't get a manager that could handle that. He'll have to learn that he can't play it safe. Anyway, not the place.
Hope he keeps Evans in. Nani as well. Not going to happen, but I'd love to see Januzaj get burn if RVP is still out.
