    Laughable ...

What Neuer Mistake ?? You mean in the Feulner kick that Neuer's vision was blocked by the CB and the ball curled away from him when aproched the goal ??

Yeah, what a huge mistake by Neuer !!

And by the way, Neuer is one of the World's best in the position and is a consistent reliable player, we can't say the same about Tymo. He barely played this season, isn't match fit and screwed up in the weekend against a weak opposition, but yeah, lets totally play him in the most difficult match of the CL Group Stage !!!!

Come on man, it's not like we're playing Ottl in the CL final or something. Tymo is a solid, experienced player. He knows how to play in Europe. He's not some fresh faced kid who's going to lunge into tackles against Gago and Soldado. It's great that we can afford to have Tymo at #3 in our depth chart. Who else would you play there anyway? Gustavo and Can are out while Martinez is doubtful. Alaba? Tymo will do fine.

I rather have a Schweini-Kroos pairing and Müller at AM ...

To be fair, and I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but Neuer has been underwhelming these past 2 years. I'm confident he'll return to his Schalke brilliance in the near future, but he has been far from the likes of Casillas or Buffon. He's done poorly against long range as well as ground level shots. His sense of positioning has also seemed iffy, at least not as good as what it can be. He hasn't been performing up to his world class standards and I would not consider him even the best goalkeeper in the league.

And no, this doesn't mean I want him benched.

If you do that you have to play Shaqiri at RW, and then you'll be left with no offensive subs on the bench other than Pizarro, except for a half fit Gomez and van Buyten. It's better to make a direct switch Tymo for Gustavo rather than moving 2 players out of their best positions.

I don't know if he will put untested Martinez in CB for OUR back 4...
That kind of position you have to be familiar with no? And your buddies across the line..

But I guess if tymo can do it in the CL final right??

Either Martinez or Tymo in the back 4 beside Dante. IDK if badstuber is fit enough. I just want to avoid VanBuyten at Defence

DvB is the lesser of the two evils imo.

I'd prefer to try out the Dante-Bads pairing on Saturday, there's too much at risk in this one to play one of them out of position.

I'm pretty sure Heynckes will go for

    -----------Neuer--------------
    Lahm---DvB----Dante--Alaba
    ---------Tymo----Schweini----
    ----Muller-----Kroos----Ribery
    --------Mandzukic/Pizarro---------

He probably won't risk it with Martinez either in DM or CB and go for the safe choices Tymo and DvB

martinez is not a game changer who makes the difference in the field...ribery's return is more important

No reason to worry, we'll be fine no matter who we put out there.

Players must draw blood and leave bone exposed under Mr. Webb's watch to get a booking....

So maybe the flow of the game will be free flowing :)

I don't feel the same way. We could easily lose this match.

Plus, this sounds eerily similar to another match you were confident about that didn't turn out so well.

Not feeling good about this one..

They don't lose at home.. So we can't come away with a loss either. We have to draw at least...

The guys will (should) be up for this.

If they go out and play like this game truly matters and not half-ass it like in other matches I just can't see how we lose this game.

I thought I was the only one who noticed this last season. He has been pure just above average or average this season and most of last season....very sad
