What you need against teams who "park the bus" are players that can hold and pass the ball well and Kroos is such a player. I really don't see him struggling against such teams, I mean pretty much all our opponents play this way.
Kroos also adds a lot of stability to our midfield, has a very good chemistry with Ribery and allows Schweinsteiger to go forward a lot more.
Due to this I'd rather see Müller upfront instead of changing the heart (central midfield) of our game.

I disagree. When opponents park the bus we are going to inherently have most of the possession and attackers who are more direct are a greater asset in getting the vital 1-0 and 2-0 earlier in the match.

Regardless, I'm sure Kroos could get the job done as well.

we have no other chances but win, no other results, and it's not enough cause then we have to draw in Valencia and smash Bate, too hard?:alien:

Are you honestly using the dated argument of throwing more attackers in a game to get more chances/goals? That's not how (modern) football works and why the two striker formations were abandoned in the first place (let's be real, playing with Müller as AM is like a two striker formation).
We had often enough problems against defensive teams with Robbery and Müller as AM because we lacked presence/creativity in the center.
Possession alone won't help us, it needs players who can play the right pass to cut defences open and Kroos is such a player. I won't say that Müller can't do a good job too but I definitely prefer Kroos in the AM role because it gives our attack a much better balance.

Not to mention that a) Kroos is a danger outside the penalty area with his shots which can upset teams who just sit in their penalty area and b)we don't even know if Lille are going to park the bus with their dreadful position in the table

I think Kroos would be better than Muller at AM with Pizza in the box because Kroos will give us better passing and Pizza has better off-ball movement than Muller. Still, if Lille parks the bus I think that Kroos is going to have to step up his off-the-ball game to be fully effective.

Have a meeting at 1 this afternoon and hopefully it'll be over no later than 2 so I can get back in my office, get a ton of work done and have a light afternoon so I can watch the game on a stream (fingers crossed on a decent one - please don't fail me, oh trusty stream site!). I get out at 4 so I'll walk to my car with the same stream (hopefully) on my phone. I'll have it with me in the car and I'll keep peaking (yes, I know, dangerous, but thankfully I work two towns over from my home and my commute is a short 15 minutes tops on back roads), and then I'll get home, get attacked by my kids (son, 7, loves "soccer", Bayern, and Arjen Robben; daughter, 4, says she likes Chelsea because one of her dolls is named Chelsea but we'll change that!), and try to find that same stream on the netbook and watch the final 10 minutes....ahhh, the hoops we go through to watch our club!!!!!! CMON LETS KICK SOME SERIOUS ARSE TODAY!!!!!!

If Muller plays today, I hope he plays like crap in the first half; because by now, we all know what that means.... :D

Dude don't watch the game while you are driving. Just crank up the volume and listen to the commentary. You are putting the lives of others at risk just so you can catch a few glimpses of the second half.

I'm sad that Kroos wasn't included in the starting line-up. Perhaps we will see him come in during the 2nd half for Pizzaro and Mueller can have a go as CF.
