He a big blow. I wonder if Heynckes will go with Rafinha or Contento. I have a feeling it will be the latter

Only 17500 tickets offered to Bayern fans? Plus the couple thousand to the general public from Munich (which will most likely be Bayern supporters), correct?

It would make sense to me actually but it would be odd to field Contento in a final. I think eventually he'll settle for Rafinha but I get why he wouldn't want to upset the balance of Lahm on the right. It would probably also be better to have Lahm there because the left is Chelsea's strength with Cole and Mata.

Then again, there is the other option, Pranjic, which I woudl probably choose ahead of both Rafinha and Contento.

Agree on all accounts, I have a feeling though that Heynckes doesn't see Pranjic as LB

I don't think it will matter since Cole won't even attack tbh. It will be a case of Bayern 60%+ and Chelsea a lot less and what either team can do with it. Like the Inter vs Bayern final, but thankfully we have Ribery this time and not a useless-offensive fullback like Baddy then, so we should hurt them out wide.

Plus is Kroos, Pig and Muller all start, we will have a lot more firepower in the middle of the pitch unlike last time. We also have Neuer.

    So you think Line up would be this;

    Neuer
    Lahm Boetang tymo ?
    Piggy kroos
    Muller
    Robbery
    Gomez

It will be interesting who he puts at LB.

Or if he will swap rafhina/Lahm....

He will have to find a balance between the flow of the players ATM and missing players..

Imagine if Breno lines up alongside Dante next season... It could be described as an inferno.

You may have to nobble someone. Ooh, that's not legitimate is it? I tried the ballot back in March and failed, and have decided that I am going to do the Marienplatz thing. If at that point Mary flies down from her plinth and gives me a ticket...

    I would start with this:

    --------------Neuer-----------------
    Lahm---Boateng---Tymo---Contento
    ---------Schweini---Pranjic-----------
    --------------Kroos-------------------
    Robben-----Gomez----------Ribery

That gives us the flexibilty to bring Mueller from the bench and we can move Kroos back to CM and Pranjic into LB. I think that its most likely that Heynckes will pick Contento since he is the only Natural LB in the team.

Just realised that alaba and ribery partnership was awesome! We are going to miss that badly :(

Compared to Lahms and Robbens partership on the right flank, these two are quicker and have a way better understanding.

Our design departments will have work to do this summer in changing that logo. Another star will have to be added there.

Hehe. The stars on the shirt are actually nothing to do with the number of EC/ECL wins, but represent national titles. We got the fourth star after our twentieth title - you get three stars for 10, two for 5, and one for 3.

ECL wins are actually represented on the sleeve by a EC trophy logo with the number in it. Next year this should be a "5".

Actually, next year should be a "champions" patch...and hopefully that silly world club cup badge as well. Be a great year to pick up a CL kit. (Assuming we win)

As far as our defense, we have 2 BL 'training' matches to sort it out..and IMHO, I'm not too concerned about the DFB cup either. This CL thing could really happen, let's not risk getting anyone hurt, if BvB gets their double so what, we have a chance for the ultimate 'one up' on them.
