Why do we think he isn't starting? There was no source listed for that line-up, and it seems to me that Mandzukic was rested this weekend. I am 90% certain that he will be the starting CF tomorrow night.

If it was from Kicker, then we can throw it in the bin.

Thanks. I didn't realize that he was suspended this weekend. Still doesn't change my prediction that he will start against Arsenal.

I have to add that this is where the 4-1-4-1 vs 4-2-3-1 formation would go head to head at this stage of football where every
goal counts! For one thing the double-pivot worked like a charm and greatly reduced our opponents ability to score in the knockout stages against us especially from open play last season. We only leaked in 4 goals in all 7 games and 3 of them where from set-pieces including one that should not even have been given in the first place. That is 1 goal in over 10 hours of football! Phenomenal I must say considering we had the toughest road to the title in recent years

It would be interesting to see how the 4-1-4-1 pans out because the defensive solidity the previous formation gave us was unmatched hopefully this one serves us well

Because Müller is better and more complete, he can help us to outplay them easier. He's a good striker too as Mandzukic in finishing and he can also head if in case of need.

Last season I was pissed that our most in form striker was benched in key games in the Champions League ...
Let's not do this again, shall we ??

Mandzukic has been playing well lately and just scored his 1st hat-trick in a Bayern shirt. He must start...

Besides, Mandzu has a score to settle. Last time we played Arsenal, Mandzukic was awful in both games... Great time to step up now !

He played well in the first game, in the second game the whole team was to blame.

He played like crap the 1st lag, luckily the rest of the team was on fire ... He only scored because it was an lucky, flukey ass goal ...

    This.

Mandzukic's work rate and off the ball work was fantastic last year at the Emirates.

Oh, and in the second leg we controlled the game but failed again and again to put the ball in...

In the end, that's the striker's job, where was he to put them away ?? Imho he was more at fault then anyone else that day, but that's another history...

From what I remember, he held up the ball well. He started the move for his goal by chesting and passing the ball to Robben. Anyway, let bygones be bygones; he's the in-form striker, I hope he plays.

Get back at me when Mandzukic scores 40 games a season and single-handedly pull results out of his ass for the team ...

Oh, and don't forget that it was thanks to Gomez that we got to that final in the 1st f@cking place ...

Sorry, but I been hearing shit all day about Bayern from shitty, posers Juve and Arsenal fans and then I came here, to see P to the Wee's message ... No way I couldn't respond to that ... :D

Funny part is that I just praised Mandzukic, but I guess some here loves some Mandzu/Gomez argument ...
