I'd rather not see him back, anything he says feels hollow after what he did. If Mancini and the players want him back though, so be it - but I won't cheer him when he scores, only the fact that City have scored. Even if he does come back I expect it'll only be until summer time.

I'd rather not see him return. But if this makes it easier to move him in the summer, I'm all for it.

if hes focused i think he will play a major factor in the title race, really cant say dzeko and super mario are very consistent. if he doesnt make it on the league roster then we need someone to play in the europa league games and give aguero some rest from time to time.

hopefully three months of relative peace and harmony then he can leave and everyone can move on.

I feel the same way, the only way i know he won't disrupt the team is because he knows this is his chance to prove his worth so someone will pay City for him. Money and himself should be motivation enough for him to come back and perform well, but if he does and we win the league i hope he doesn't make the bench when we lift the trophy.

Another wank away performance is punished. United top although it's not panic stations yet, what we need to ensure is that we're no more than 3pts behind them by the time the derby rolls around. We can beat them + their assigned referee at the Etihad and we should still have superior goal difference by then.

Savic is a walking disaster and it really seems like Mancini has been choking lately in his team selections. Aguero and Lescott on bench today?

The very first difficult match of the run-in and City have already lost, there are still harder games to come. It will be difficult to stop the gap from increasing, who'd have thought this back in November.

Lescott wasn't even on the bench, Kompany and Lescott both being out injured didn't help. Savic is so bad and his mistakes may have cost us the league and a Carling Cup final spot. Suddenly seems a lot more expensive than his £6million price tag and not in a good way!

Did not watch the game but I heard city had a penalty called against them, surprise, but hart blocked it :) and Richards scored a tying goal that was disallowed. Was it the right call? So I guess savic is still ********ing up....10 games, only 1 point adrift city can still do this

I'm sure you did not declare City the league champions last weekend.

So I wouldn't concede (i know that's an exaggeration) this weekend.

Many games and several months to go, hang in there Stu ... and enjoy the tight race!. It's great stuff, despite how gut wrenching it is at the moment.

I've not conceded yet but it's grim, United have a much easier run-in. As I said I believe the most important thing is to stay within 3pts of them before the derby at our stadium, as we are one of the best sides in the world at home but have just been useless away lately.

Every time Mancini trots out the Barry-De Jong-Toure midfield 3 I want to throw my remote through my television. Here's to hoping that this game finally taught him how much it sucks.

I'd also love to hear opinions on Nasri, because I find him to be a grand waste of money. He takes about 50 touches every time he receives the ball and then after killing any potential quick attacking move he'll pass it laterally or backwards. He never penetrates defenses, and I'm pretty sure that's what he was brought here to do.

Sorry for all the negativity in my first city post ever, the game today put me in a bad mood.

The only firing that needs to be done in regards to Tevez is to make him leave Manchester, once and forever.

Silva is here pulling all the strings so Nasri is not able to do the same thing hes done for Arsenal. I think its the same as Milner, who also had to adjust to a different role after arriving. I think Nasri can be labeled as a disappointment this year but not as a bust yet.

Yeah, Nasri deserves another season at least. I've lost count of the players we've had who were nothing special in their first season (Lescott springs to mind, most City fans wanted him gone, now we rely heavily on him with Kompany!) but came good. Nasri's problem to me is he lacks a backbone, he seems afraid to do things so just makes the easy pass and sometimes slows down our attacks. At Arsenal I saw him run at men and dribble past them, we haven't seen much of that yet. Perhaps we could have signed Mata instead though, the club basically cut it down to three candidates - Nasri, Sneijder, Mata - and chose Nasri probably because Sneijder has knee problems and Mata wasn't tested in the Premier League but surely we learned from Silva that some players will fit in no matter what.

A show of Mancunian spirit tonight, what an amazing win, lost my voice and my water bottle is probably still on the pitch as I went spastic after the second and threw it up in the air. :D

Nasri and Aguero were immense! Nasri came good when we needed him as Silva is struggling badly right now, chronic ankle problem + fatigue. And Tevez made a difference, his movement in the box caused Chelsea a lot of problems and his assist was beautiful. Win us the league and we might forgive you, Carlos.

As far as I'm concerned Nasri's best performance in a City shirt.

Yes, he was fantastic and needs to play like that more. With Silva out of form largely because of an ankle injury, it would be a good time for Nasri to show this form for the rest of the season. Imagine Nasri like that all the time with Silva in top form, they'd be our Xavi and Iniesta.

What to do with Silva, he's been pretty ineffective in March. Should we let him rest at stoke tomorrow? I also think Dzeko and Milner should get a run in, I think Villa was the last start Milner had.

Give Silva the rest and start Milner or AJ, and bring him on after an hour if it's tied or we're down.
