Chandler isn't that bad these days and I wouldn't want to be around some of the snobby ahwautukee people.
Unfortunately I don't attend Napoli matches anymore. I moved back to the US two years ago and am now resigned to watching games on TV or online.
your stories still motivated me as I will eventually get there for my first match. I am still a little nervous about finding how to get around town especially by public transportation to and from the stadium. That said, i can't wait.
Yeah of course, I am for Napoli. I will be visiting a few cities as I usually do for all my trips but I will be in Naples to do a little sight seeing as well as hopefully attending a football match. I don't know when I will be able to make it on a trip though but eventually I will.
When you go, if you survive barra and ponticelli your doing alright, barra is the worlds most scariest station i have ever seen, the suburb itself is scary, the appartment buildings are dull red and yellowish, and all the windows are broken, you get a good laugh out of it though that's for sure, go to amalfi, capri, positano sorrento, that's what classy campagna is all about
Well, I actually lived safely up in Sterling Hts growing up most of my life but I spent a lot of time down there for concerts and various sporting matches.
I know Sterling Heights well. I used to (allegedly) be a co-proprietor in an illicit interstate transportation firm that operated between Phoenix and Detroit. I used to shack up with a girl who lived in some apartments with a lake basically right in the parking lot of a big mall in Sterling Heights. She worked at Jon-Jon's. Most of the guys I ran with were from Hazel Park or Warren, though.
That's great to hear! I really wish I would have had time to blog about the last 3 matches I went to before leaving so suddenly. The problem is that the more time goes on, the more blurry the details get...so I don't think I would ever be able to write them on the same level as the other entries...
I was around the 18 mile area and yeah there were two malls within not too long of a distance away. I don't miss the winter weather though.
Yup. Re-connected with my first love (that I hadn't seen in 20-ish years) on Facebook about a year-and-a-half ago. Moved here 3 weeks later.
I'm sure. haha My daughter just arrived here from Tucson yesterday afternoon. This will be the first real winter she ever had.
I was shocked when my first love found me on facebook a few years ago. I don't have any grand story but it is cool to be friends. I will say that I like that there is snow to ski or snowboard not super far away in the mountain area of the state but I do love not having to warm up the car for a bit before going anywhere in the morning. It is a wee bit chilly though when I get off of work in the mornings though.
I lost some of my tape collection and hat collection on my first night in Arizona as my car was stolen the first night I was here as I had to stay the first night in a hotel. Grew up north of Detroit, went to many concerts in not so pleasant areas and sporting events in no so pleasant areas, and I get this out here. No problems since though.
Ciao Ciuccio, I'm still around but rarely check BS these days. I barely even get a chance to watch Napoli games anymore!
