So I've heard good things about the "Asian Fusion" food served by the Chow Truck. I am intrigued at least. Anybody been?

    Yeah, it's great! I haven't tried anything yet that I haven't liked.

Also, the root chips are awesome.

Thanks. We're thinking about making it our first stop after the airport.

I would just recommend keeping tabs on where they are through Twitter, since they tend to move around a bit.

Bump to say, if you haven't ever been - WOW. This is a terrific asset to the SL region. We're passing through in a couple of weeks on the way to my sister's "Postception" (what do you call a reception two months after the wedding?), and will make time for the Chow Truck.

    Here's the website

there are so many of these around portland, its crazy. maybe 5-6 years ago the roach coaches had 1 spot in downtown, basically taking up half a block in a parking lot. now there are several spots all over downtown with "havens" of roach coaches.

i've only ever eaten at one, a mexi-stand after a long night of drinking down at Kells. it was meh as far as drunk munchies go.

This isn't a regular taco truck/roach coach. Think of it as a chef on wheels. Draws higher end clientele and does a brisk business.
