If indeed this stadium gets build then Atlas will takeover Estadio Jalisco but Chivas should host the Super Classico at Estadio Jalisco so that more fan's could go and to keep it as a tradition. My Opinion!

I know you mean well with that comment, but teams usually don't build a stadium to later rent another one out. Plus, Chivas may make more money in their own stadium versus the profits that would be provided from playing in el Jalisco, even if there are more people. Just my opinion.

Yes you're right. On the other hand i would like to see the America players and cuerpo technico envy us with our world class stadium and facilities.

Guadalajara, México (6 marzo 2007).- El predio aún está sin movimiento, pero del tan prometido estadio de las Chivas, la directiva ya tiene una nueva versión representada en una espectacular maqueta.

"Es la representación ya definitiva, con los cambios que se le iban hacer, que son mínimos, no en cuanto al concepto, que es el mismo, el aforo sigue igual, pero esta versión es más real de lo que será el estadio", explicó Juan José Frangie, director general del Club Guadalajara.

Sin fecha aún para el arranque de la construcción, el directivo aseguró que el financiamiento para comenzar la obra ya lo tienen autorizado con un banco alemán, pero reveló que en las últimas semanas diversos bancos mexicanos con sede matriz en el extranjero, se han acercado para ofrecer mejores préstamos.

"Ya se tiene el préstamo autorizado, pero estas propuestas que han llegado las estamos considerando, porque en algunas pudieran existir mejores condiciones en el financiamiento, son bancos mexicanos con capital extranjero y quizá podríamos llegar a un acuerdo", agregó.

La nueva maqueta que fue entregada desde hace 30 días, es exhibida con iluminación especial en las nuevas oficinas de Chivas sobre la carretera a la Base Aérea.

I mean, this extravagant Willie Wonka of caffeined koolaid could have easily taken a toilet seat and have an architect put model trucks and trees and choo choos around it... Does any "construction" around the chiva stadium suspiciously looks like a roll of toilet paper?
