All our problems with finding someone to play on the leftwing/mid instead of Tepa... why don't we bring back Vela? He was in great form prior to his injury and deserved a cap to the Sele. I think he is the answer and would give us much needed depth. I don't think the sub azul would ask for too much.

As much as I like Vela, the problem is management likes Tepa. They don't see a hole at that position (so much that they let Ramon walk while paying him his salary). Maybe they could help us win a subcampeonato.

Like I said, management seems to like him. I don't know why. After debuting and starting a bunch with el bigoton (something about him being the "most ready" Chiva youth, over the U17s champs), he sort of disappeared until Efrain Flores took over. That's when he had his major minutes. But he's also started for most of the other coaches in between Flores and Real. To his credit, I think he gave Bravo the pass on the 2nd goal Saturday night (I won't give him credit on the awful bouncing cross that lead to Bravo's header midweek in Libertadores, because that was a terrible pass), but I don't see why he gets playing time. He must either have blackmail pictures of Vergara, or put on one hell of a show during practice.
