I don't understand the problem with the Bimbo logo people have. Is it the size? Or the fact there is an advertiser when Vergara said there wouldn't be? Is it because gringos point and laugh?
The name be a little stupid, and it's not like I am cheerleader for MNCs ... but goddamn, Bimbo is a significant Mexican company. Why the hate?
Bimbo is just a dumb name i wouldn't mind a sponsor on the front if it was something else, like a beer (Corona, Tecate, Sol, etc.) or bank (Banamex, Banorte, etc.) hell, switch the Pepsi or Toyota ad with the Bimbo on the front!
I recommend Vergara put his last name as the sponsor with the first four letters in front and the Ra in the back. All in favor say aye.
Wow, just seen the shirt. Im not a fan of the chivas jersey having more white than red, but it looks nice. They pulled it off.
For me it's the size.. ------- Overall I like it.. never been a fan of collard jerseys but this one looks nice.. maybe because the collar doesn't go all the way up to your throat like a polo shirt.
they're going to present the away jersey in the upcoming weeks. most likely sometime in September. we'll continue using the blue away jersey from last season for the time being.
ugh...why is so hard to keep our colors? would have loved a red away jersey that black jersey is too plain looking. WTF is up with the design around the shoulder & center of the jersey?? and like always, having BIMBO front & center on any jersey just kills it
I betchu Vergara heard something about black being subconsciously intimidating so he went for it. Worked for Mexico. New stadium, new coaches, advisor, refuerzos, natural grass, and he still can't figure out what's stopping this team from producing. Doode needs to take one hard look in the mirror and understand that he is the problem. This is what happens when you micro manage.
I'd buy it to have another dark shirt for pick up games .. the stripes 'confuse' people. The stripes ain't light, so it's dark. Problem? I got the home shirt w/collar for X-mas. Big pimpin'!
