they don't say how large the "local areas" are, but its possible on March 22nd you could get the deal for wearing NE Revolution gear? http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...rtnership-highlighed-first-ever-mls-homegrown
I believe you are thinking Jack in the Box tacos.....which are delicious but tend to go straight through a person or me!.. Chipotle uses much higher quality ingredients... though, yes... depending on the virtues and strength of your stomach it can still decimate you... sorry for my useless ramble. I do want a burrito now though.
If it was REAL Mexican food, then it would be fine. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Exhibit 1836 why MLS will always struggle to attract Mexican fans - it's not just soccer, it's also food!!!!!!
Oh, sorry, I figured you were one of those lame white people who is scared of beans. honestly, Chipotle is better than 90% of the "mexican"/"texmex"/"oaxacan" places I've ate at outside of Texas, and they're almost single-handedly forcing the meat industry to correct itself, so anyone that hates on Chipotle i question.
Never had anyone mistake me for white. Not sure how to Feel about this. Meh, if i had to choose between chipotle or someone like arandas...I'd take chipotle. It ain't Mexican, though. It's Cali-mex.
I hope Deric and Salazar get to play in the homegrown game. speaking of homegrown and slightly-pretentious, has Ibeagha found a team yet?
Ibeagha is with Horsens in the Danish 2nd Division http://www.socceramerica.com/article/56082/dukes-ibeagha-lands-in-danish-second-division.html
I used to be a Freebird's guy, but last month's price increase bummed me out. Chipotle has better grilled vegetables anyway and Freebird uses that damn Guacamole gun to make sure they don't accidentally give you a reasonable portion. A monster at Freebird's is at least a dollar more expensive than a comparably sized Chipotle burrito and that's just for the veggie. Add meat and the difference increases.. I do enjoy that there are more choices at Freebird, and they have a location closer to my house than Chipotle does, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to just go with whichever is closer at a given moment. At the end of the day, it's the same damn burrito if you build it the same way. And for people who say Chipotle upsets their stomach, I think the only bad burrito I've ever gotten from Chipotle or Freebird has been when I phone it in for pickup. They make the thing right in front of you, after all. If you see something you don't like, speak up and don't pay for it. Anyway, Between the team providing me with MLS Live and now this two-for-one promotion on Saturday, I feel like the Dynamo front office have stepped up their game. this season. Let's hope the team does as well.
I much prefer Chipotle, mainly because their hot sauce is actually hot..... the hottest sauce at Freebirds and Bullrito's.. might as well bring them into this.... are so anemic and flavorless... I do agree with the earlier post... this is certainly CaliMex... not TexMex.... but I think it is pretty fresh and good stuff overall. Mainly, if they are going to offer an awesome Dynamo promotion, I'm going to show up and get a free Burrito and show that I appreciate the clubs and their efforts....
Personally, I couldn't even tell you where there is a Chipotle location in the Houston area. Never eaten at a Chipotle.
In other burrito-related woes, it looks like Mission Burrito is going to have to change their name. Not that I give a shit about them or their food. Chipotle FTW.
