I was glad they didn't forget about Roy Lassiter. He was one of my favorite MLS 1.0 players and he's largely unknown by newer/younger fans. Btw, the Keeper Notes Show is going to be having a World Cup trivia night at the Firken Phoenix in a couple weeks if anyone wants to flex their football knowledge.
But Roy only really had that crazy one year. He had 1-2 more decent years which, with the amount of matches they used to play still was good enough to keep in the top ten. But guys like Razov, Kreis and Moreno were the energizer bunnies of the league, putting up double digit goals for years.
He did have that 27 goal season, but IIRC he hit double digit goals each of the 5 years he was in MLS. Plus he had an excellent goal per minute ratio in the playoffs.
