Evergrande fan here, but seriously this is going to be a problem with all these national teamers. There's no point in getting Zhao Peng IMO. But getting Zeng Cheng...good transfer.

i think zhao peng will be a backup signing.
there's no way he can take the spot of feng xiaoting and kim young-gwan. there is tang dechao in the squad too.

with evergrande's current depth, the whole eleven players can be featured in the national team:

    zeng cheng
zhang ramos linpeng - zhao 九帝 peng - feng 婷婷 xiaoting - sun xiang
    zhao xuri - qin sheng
feng renliang - zheng zhi - rong hao
    gao lin

oh. we have huang bowen too.

    super rumour:
    - real madrid is interested in yi teng
    - yi teng will be loaned to real madrid
    - real madrid will MOST LIKELY put yi teng in the Real Madrid Castilla team
    - it was rumoured Castilla needs a defender/DMF, so yi teng would have some sort of guaranteed playing time

might be news to some of you:
in the deals between evergrande-ruby and evergrande-henan, evergrande will offer the two clubs a list of youth and fringe players to choose.

rumours said the following players are available,
li zhilang, shi fengjun, peng xinli, peng shaoxiong, zhang hongnan, tan jiajun, ye weichao, gao zhilin, the seven youth players that were purchased from dongguan, and other players.

however, veteran li jianhua remains in the team.

Evergrande has way too many players and most of those players that you listed won't even get a chance to make the bench. This is good for the young players that need playing time.

(he is still in his luneng jersey lol)

reporter: "if you have words of advice for the kids trying to learn free-kicks, what would you tell them?"
deng zhuoxiang: "don't copy your idol, just be yourself".

true dat. it is a double win situation.
the jia-A clubs can get quality youth players without causing conflicts in the CSL league.
(well maybe in the CFA Cup yes)

Nope. Their rival Dalian Aerbin bought them and there is no more Dalian Shide anymore.

Any news from Chinese sources on Drogba/Anelka situation in Shenhua?
Remember seeing english articles linking them to Juve/QPR january transfers, but haven't heard anything since.

Drogba said he wants to see out his contract for Shenhua, but Anelka is the most likely to be gone before the season starts.

I know this isn't China football related, but how would you write "Manchester United" in traditional chinese?
