Tigana will be paid more than 3m$ ? You guys are getting absolutely robbed. Not that I have anything against Tigana, but he was fired from Bordeaux because his results weren't good at all and he wasn't exactly a world beater with Fulham. But as I am french I hope he'll succeed in China and makes up for the reputation Troussier is creating us.

All the AFC CL qualified teams are not making much moves. TJ already lost Haan and looks to lose Chen Tao. BJ and GZ are not doing much either. Hope we can see some good moves from these teams!

What do you expect them to do? They'll sign foreigners now, but Chinese player contracts end on 12/31, so even if they are negotiating or have reached agreements with the players, nothing can be announced until then. I expect Guangzhou will make at least 3 major domestic signings when the window opens, Beijing talked about getting Yu Dabao, but I think they're more likely to settle for Mao Jianqing. The big news in Beijing isn't about a signing but that the club's finally been able to help Yang Zhi with his hukou issues (a thoroughly Chinese problem), so it looks likely the keeper will stay in the capital.

as in 户口, the Chinese household registration system. Yang Zhi's hukou is in Guangzhou, his wife's also not from Beijing and no longer working, so unless Guoan was able to give him a Beijing hukou, their daughter would have trouble going to a public school in Beijing and this was one of the main reasons he was hoping to go to Fuli or Evergrande. With this taken care of, he should be able to commit to Beijing longterm.

Some updates to pump up the dead forum.

Rong Hao, Zhao Xuri, and Pang Xinli will be joining Guangzhou Evergrande.

Rong Hao doesn't want to leave Hangzhou Greentown, but the Greentown management has spent huge amount of acquiring the Japanese coach and the club needs money. Rong was sold to Guangzhou for 12 million RMB.

i have mentioned on the oversea chinese thread before that dong fangzhuo is coming back to china, citing family as his reason.

now the newest update is dong is not coming anymore.
    the reasons are:
    - hunan billows requested for a trial, i believe the dong originally does not need to go through a trial to join, dong got mad and refused to join
    - dong still wants to play oversea

    lol good luck dong.
