That red card there in the final minutes was stupid. I can understand being frustrated, but to just kick at your opponents legs, then complain about being sent off? What a dummy.

I thought Shenhua was going to get the last laugh. Joel has hutzpah and probably should be captain despite his Beijing background and Anelka's presence. Boy does Mao Jianqing still hate Shenhua and/or Zhu Jun.

The away section was able to sneak in a few audible chants and the riled up home crowd responded in kind.

    Where do the Yulinjun sit?

A good man for a traitor! He is smart though, the penalty was at the opposite end of the stadium and being down, if he scored he'd just pull the ball out and head up the pitch. It definitely took balls though.

I sent a text to shanghaiultra when Mao Jianqing first came on and I quote "Mao's gonna win it". He came on and was a beast, you could tell he'd do anything to beat Shenhua.

Why is it that Feng Renliang always gets neturalized (and this time Cao Yunding too), by a 35 year old Zhou Ting? You'd think they'd have the speed to beat him, but he dominates them.

Haha, is this a joke? Well, seems you were sitting around stand 14 or 15, so maybe it was hard to see, Yulinjun is in the north stand, the section that was singing and bouncing around the whole match.

    Here's why:

gosh i respect him though for his mom =/. he should be the national striker instead of gaolin. great speed and can move the ball. can head it too.

That's no joke. You should take it as a compliment. Even the "regular" Gong Ti spectator sections dress and chant as if they were a supporters section. I'd say the "average" Beijing fan is better than the "average" Shanghai fan. So if the dugout is our orientation I was southeast of the dugout. Where's the north stand? North of the dugout? With the flags?

That's the whole story? Didn't Mao have a problem with Wu Jingui too? And he's not getting picked for the national team because the establishment doesn't like his "rebellious" attitude? Great attitude for football though.

Haha, its most definitely true that Beijing fans are better than in Shanghai, there is far more of a football culture in supporting the local side in Beijing and its something even a couple of Shenhua players have openly admitted. The north stand is the one with the flags, behind the goal.

Not sure if that's everything, but its definitely part of it.

How much money is spent on youth development in china? Unless they're pouring money into that already I don't get why they would spend so much on a guy like Camacho as well as clubs spending so much on foreigners (well at least the 2 I'm aware of, amounting already to too much).

I made the trip up and was in the away section... Shenhua were fairly poor, both goals we scored were gifts, the defence is shaky, Anelka played well but wasn't match fit.

Not a good start to the season for Mr Tigana.

i think he meant the team Guangzhou Fuli.
guangzhou evergrande surprisingly lost 0-2 to the newly promoted Guangzhou Fuli.

dont know if zhang yuan, one of the scorers, is the same dude from the olympic team.
