I just expressed my opinion when it gets about country and sense of patriotism, and how it doesn`t relate in anything to how the National team is conformed with. These are 2 completely diferent things with no bond between each other.

In the only way where it relates somehow one to the other, is that our NT is Chile's NT.

I always have difficulty understanding the benefit of friendlies using all local talent as part of preparation for the World Cup. Why does a Coach waste time with such a local squad? Even if it was to see a couple of players as potential subs for the senior team. To me it would be far more beneficial to see one or two players playing with the senior team and see how they fit and see if they blend with the style, speed and movement of Sampaoli starters. But hey! I am not the Coach and surely Sampaoli knows best.

Me llama la atención que sólo juegue Fuentes en el medio, porque siendo honestos Fierro y M. González no va a aportar mucha en esa zona. Me tinca que la anchura la va a proporcionar Albornoz combinando con M. González y Fierro se va a tirar un poco más al centro por el otro lado (como lo venía haciendo el año pasado).

Cuando suba Albornoz, Chile va a quedar con línea de 3: Álvarez, O. González, Rojas, etc.

 

Si, raro eh, no me gusta esa dupla Meneses, Fierro. No tenía idea que Albornoz jugaba por la izquierda.

Yo creo que va a ser un caso más de Mark y Albornoz juntándose por izquierda (y ensanchando ese mismo lado) y esto obligaría a Paredes a tirarse más al centro con Muñoz. Dudo que Sampaoli lo quiera tirando centros y/o desbordando.
