Nice article on the relationship between LFC and Oympiacos. Learned something new and will root for them when I get a chance to see them play like I did yesterday against ManU. It was easy to root for them yesterday.

funny, when I read the quotes the first time I remember not seeing the word "met buyout clause" anywhere, but it was possibly hinted at. Now it seems different, and I would love to see the actual video of him talking and not simply take the word of the english journalism regurgitation machine

 

I love when players do this. Henderson was born in Sunderland, was a boyhood Sunderland supporter, joined their academy as a kid, grew up with the club, and went pro with them. He'll be a Sunderland fan his entire life with the exception of when he's playing against them.

You'd think that Rooney for example would be seen at Everton games every once in awhile too. There's nothing wrong with rooting for your old club when you aren't playing against them.

 

Always could relate to Suarez on that. Now if only I had a fraction of his skill...
