Also there is a huge difference between making goals when your already up 2 or 3 goals and knocking in game winners. His goals as we say in Spanish "pesan".
All credit to Cheech for the goal but I've gotta say that he looked pretty bad today... You bench players who are hot and they'll eventually cool down... I'm sure SAF knows this
Hard to say. Individually they are close but contribute differently. One thing is for sure, Man U can probably survive without Cheech, can't say the same with Real Sociedad and Vela.
Both teams would survive but would Man U be 7 points clear without his late game winners? I think theyd be even or a couple points back, anyone know the exact points gained by the Cheech late in games?
Vela has contributed to all of Sociedad's wins this season (or almost), and was named their 2011-2012 player of the year. Chicharito had a lackluster showing in the beginning of the year, while Vela had his best year in Europe.
This may have been Chich's most important win of his career. To struggle like he did for 89 minutes only to snatch the game winner on 90. Holy crap! The exchange between him & SAF after he was subbed off and also at the end spoke volumes. He loves the Chich, stuck with him, and it paid off.
I'm not trying to make this a Vela VS. Cheech argument,I was simply replying to this statement "Man U can probably survive without Cheech, can't say the same with Real Sociedad and Vela" Both teams would obviously survive and depending on your definition of survive I argued Man U would definately not be 7 points clear and maybe not even in 1st if not for Hernandez. Off the top of my head he gained 2 points today and 3 with his disputed hat-trick that makes 5 points and I'm sure I'm missing some.
We're getting off topic but I still stand by statement. Yes, Cheech made some very important contributions here and there; but even without him, Man U would still be battling for the league title. Vela on the hand has not only been RS' top scorer but he has also been an important playmaker for RS. People were poking fun at Vela for going to RS, a team some here thought would be constantly fighting the regulation zone; but here we are a half a season in and they're fighting for a Euro spot. I have no doubt that without Vela, that wouldn't be possible.
Fair enough,I can see people choosing either players contributions over the other, one is the leading goalscorer in a mid table Spanish side and one is scoring slightly less but on a team fighting for the Premier league title.
look at sec 24-26 how creepy is that guy in red in the middle literally motionless while everyone else is celebrating. his face is also ********ed up
