Great goal from Cheech, but part of me wanted to see MU lose the tie at the end. Every game they play outside of the EPL it's the same chop and change rubbish, and watching it happen again in the Europa league is just embarrassing. The only thing SAF got right tonight was having Cheech out there, otherwise MU would be out of another cup competition this season.

That was his 4th goal in the last 4 games and his 30th goal for United. Swag.

Could have had a second goal if Welbeck would have fed him the ball right

Well taken goal all around from Hernandez.

He was set up to have a great full game in the first half, then Ajax came out in the second to make SAF change his tactics a bit. You can see he's not fully match fit, looked kind of sluggish the last half hour. Its sad how much this team struggles when Rooney isnt on the pitch.

United squeeze by once again, if i were SAF i would definitely go in for a TOP CB in the summer. Evans doesn't deserve smell the grass at OT but i have a feeling his Scottish heritage has something to do with that.

    WTF?

    1. Evans is from Northern Ireland, not Scotland.

    2. Evans only came on for the last 30 minutes. Our best stretch of consistent/solid defensive play has been with him in the side. He makes slight mistakes here and there, like all our other CB's including Vidic, but he's not that bad.

The goal was sweetness, he did well to open himself up and finishing we know is automatic:cool:. He also had a good game with his link up play and passing in general. Also should have had 2 more goals, but Count Berbatov and Wellblack couldn't deliver the final ball....

    I was thinking of Fletcher.

And every time Evans is in he's crap.

Evans has actually been good this season, if anything they need a top midfielder.

Posts like this make me wonder whether you lads only watch Hernandez or don't get football at all.

He has been the best CB this season. As sleepyvato say, central midfield and bench strength is what the team lacks.

Every time i see him play or catch a glimpse of him on the pitch he's been dreadful, he's been caught on many occasions and i believe he was at fault for one of Ajax goal today. but i could be wrong on that aspect.

    Back to Hernandez.

ManU needs to invest in some midfielders

According so some over in the United thread, Pogba is the new Messi -- no need for midfielders, oh and Cleverly.

You are wrong on every aspect of your post but not the thread to discuss that.

You are wrong, he was not at fault for any of the Ajax goals.

Sweet sweet goal for the Cheech! It must be a nightmare to have to play defense against that dude. Hate to admit it but if I was a defender I'd probably hack the hell out of him.

Evans is shite get over it.

    ---
Anyways, Hernandez's movement once again was solid, his link up and touch have improved dramatically from the beginning of the season. Hes becoming more and more consistent, if he keeps playing like he has been he'll regain his starting role again by the end of the season.

shame he couldn't return the favor to Berba.

I hope chicharito keeps his Europa League streak against Bilbao.

I wouldn't worry too much about what they think. Evans has been the most solid defender from Man Utd.

Probably a nad. lol Though to be fair he was pretty good last time he played for them. Who knows he might be better than Messi one day. Why does everyone look at Messi's skill like it's an unclimbable mountain. He is only human you know.

Anyway Chicharo is getting his groove back. He was good throughout the match except in the end I think he was tired. Probably should have subbed in Giggs a little earlier he always assists Chicharito.

This is what kills me with united fans.....they act all pompous go as far as wanting like a youth squad out there, yet both the alternate and the main team sucks donkey balls....i dunno bout everyone else but aside from the individualities ManU is nothing to write home about.
