    I watched the second half of Chelsea 0-3 Sunderland. It was Chelsea's first loss by 3 or more goals in their last 161 home games! Sunderland is up to sixth place ahead of current Champions League participant Tottenham on goal differential. I didn't see any mentions of participation in UEFA competitions for Sunderland on Wikipedia, but they have a chance this season.

    Great win by them was good to see.

    We played in the Uefa cup after the 1973 FA cup win briefly. Im happy with a top ten spot and Europe would be a massive bonus but would probably be a bit too soon for us.
