I thought he was making another goal celebration statement about the crappy off side decision at the Newcastle game.

A work-mate who supports Chelsea and was at Stamford Bridge reckons he's never heard as loud away fans as the travelling Kop. Absolutely outstanding, even when Liverpool was losing.

I was once with the traveling Kop at Stamford Bridge for a 0-0 Champions League match. The one where Essien almost broke Dietmar Hamann's leg. The draw put us top of the table and sent Chelski to play Barca. The singing was brilliant. We never stopped from 15 minutes before the match until a half hour after the match when they finally let is out. Of course the Chelsea supporters today are generally a bunch of suburban moms and their kids from the Home Counties but we out sang them by a huge margin. Great football memory.

thought that game was a great advert for the prem. Good chunks of it was played at a frenetic pace, very high speed. Spain might be more technical, but when youve got guys like terry and gerrard getting knocks becouse they cant get out of the way in time, someones got this thing cranked up to 10.

    Full entertainment dollar.
