It may not sound all that ideal, but I wonder how Enrique would do as a CB. His defending is superb and his tackling is second only to maybe Lucas on this team. He;s pretty fast, only downside would be perhaps he isn't big enough.

He was the best defender on the pitch. His offensive contribution is flaky but his defending is superb, and definitely was in this one.

Full time, I'm happy with the result. I expected a loss, and this is a good sign, as we've turned a loss into a draw. Now if we can turn those bad draws into wins we'll really be on the right track.

Yes he was, but you know it's a odd match when Enrique is MOTM.

 

Very, very good 2nd half performance. Enrique, Suarez, Carra, Wisdom, Jones, Agger and Sterling all played well but the midfield was pretty poor, especially in the 1st half were they couldn't do anything with all our possession.

 

Yep, agreed. We didn't really miss Skrtel all that much in this one, thanksfully. I mean if he's there instead of Carra, perhaps the defending on Terry's goal is better and that goal doesn't happen, but at the same time he's a bigger force in the opposing area and woulda reacted to that Suso corner differently, and our goal probably wouldn't have happened either.

 

For all the knocking Carra has taken lately i thought he had a good game.
