The concern for Everton (given they have a very good foundation) is sustainability. Unless they find a buyer, they don't have the financial clout long term to sustain a top 4 challenge. A year or two without CL changes the climate around the club, then potentially player sales. Arsenal can survive that - I don't think Everton can.
