I think Ajax is out of the picture. Overmars is looking for cheaper options in Belgium if rumours are to be believed, perhaps Donk and van Damme.

Ryan Donk is right footed no? Isn't Frank looking for left footed defenders?

Yes Donk is right footed and it makes sense he goes for a left footed player. Somebody else here will have to give an update on how religious Frank is about that.

What I will say is that I find the current buys mediocre. I don't understand it. I can only understand it, if it's in fact a total choice for the youth. Just players making up the numbers to increase competition and challenge the youth instead of smothering it with arrived players. The new winger I am really skeptical about. Schone is oke, but not really a player I have such high hopes for. Now we are talking about Donk or van Damme.

When I see the names, I say put in Denswil and let's get this over with.

Yeah I don't understand that rumour either. We were interested in him earlier this year as a possible Alderweireld replacement, but Donk had recently extended his contract when it was confirmed that Alderweireld is staying.

The start of the season for AZ can be a thrilling one. In today's Voetbal International issue it was clear that, unlike last seasons start, Jozy seems to be fit as a fiddle as he won with power 4 times a sprint with the other AZ players and really fast too according to that article.
Verbeek is convinced Jozy is going to be far better than last season with his ajustment from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3.
So I expect coming subday Jozy doing a Lens at least 3 times against Blind and score a hattrick:)...............please:x3:
