    Beasley at Rmid?
That was tried before in another generation, but didn't work too well.
    Don't repeat old mistakes.
Boca better than Edu at CB. Are you kidding?

Guaranteed victory! No more experimentation please!
Boca will only be 35 at the world cup, for the type of center-back he is, that is not too old... Remember he is the strong type who relies on his positional sense and other things. This line up will beat both Coast Rica and Mexico! Onyewu is experienced and is only 30. Both of these guys have many years at the highest level and we would be morons to drop them for the guys that played last time! Had they played against Honduras we would be leading our group right now.

I pushed Fabian Johnson on the left wing because, he is very direct and can create chances. Lichaj was our best left back at the gold cup and actually looked better there than at right back.

No more joking, no more illogical tactics! This is the way forward.

Bocanegra sat on the bench in Racing Santander's last match. If he can't get a start in Spain's second division, he probably isn't in good form to play in a WCQ. Beasley isn't a prime option at right mid, but there are currently no other viable options. He played there rather effectively with Rangers a few seasons ago. Who would you start instead of Beasley?

Does that take away from all his experience. JK does not really care too much how many minutes players get or, he would not have called Edu all those times.

Study that over and over. It is based on watching all our matches for a while! There is no way we will lose either game with this squad. Start bringing the guys who have been costing us and, anything is possible!!

Another reason for bringing Edu is his speed. He is the only CB option who has wheels. If it was Boca in good form I would definitely start him over Edu, but the fact of the matter is that he's getting old. Perhaps we will have to wait to see if he gets a start this weekend. Not being able to start for Racing Santander is a bad sign. Then again, what do we know? We haven't been watching his training sessions.

Well, we're not going to play anything close to that line-up so unfortunately, you're safe. :D

Oh please. What is this crap?

You don't fill out our starting XI with out of form players simply because they get you all hot and bothered when thinking about them. Gooch is barely getting any kind of meaningful mins. Adu still doesn't have a team he's training with. Lichaj has been benched. Fabian doesn't play LW for his club. Fabian/Adu don't add width which we vitally need, despite what BS thinks about Fabian out wide he's not a naturally wide player and prefers cutting central.

Meanwhile, Cameron is in form and you're not picking him. Shea is set to feature so you're leaving an EPL LW off and instead bringing in a benched Lichaj at LB to move Fabian to a position he doesn't play. Adu presently isn't even a 90 min practice player.

    I mean, what is this?

This lineup almost gave my computer a virus.

We should try and play as many players out of their normal positions as possible, in order to confuse the Costa Ricans.

Oh, and a 3-4-3, too, so we have more "attackers."

Edu at RCB. (DM in Turkey)
Cameron at CB. (RB in England)
Timmy Chandler at LCB. (RB in Germany)

Williams at RM (DM in Germany)
Fabian Johnson at CM. (LB in Germany, he's so creative)
Dempsey at CM (SS in England)
Jones at LM (CM in Germany)

Altidore at RW (STR in Holland)
Bocanegra at STR (CB in Spain, he scores a lot with his head)
Kljestan at LW. (CM in Belgium)

Guzan in Goal (because opponents have never seen anyone but Howard und Klinsi, so this will be really confusing to them)

Cameron is simply not international quality. He plays right back for his club either way but, his mistakes against Honduras suggests to me that he may be good enough to play club football but, is not reliable in the international game.

Lol. Cameron isn't international quality but a benched Lichaj and an Adu without a club, are?

2010 form means crap right now. I like Lichaj a lot, but he's not ready nor in good enough form to start a WCQer at LB. Adu's two good GC games over two years ago doesn't make him a current starting NT winger. I mean, where your logic?

This is a must win game, not a game to reward form from 30+ months ago, dude.

The gold cup was summer 2011.

If this is a must win game better get rid of Cameron and Gonzales who cost us the first one!!!:D

The truth is now trolling! These days people want to retire players so quickly! Even guys we can still use. Had we produced more Bocanegra's and Onyewu's this would not be a problem but, some players are simply not at the international level!!! We need Onyewu and Boca. Bring 'em back!!!

Your analysis is quite off. You must be trolling.

It was JK's pairing of Cameron/Omar for the first time which was the larger issue. The solution isn't to bench both. And we had so many problems from tactics to tired legs all over the pitch which contributed to the loss. And your solution is to just stack out of form players out of position?

BTW, constant "!'s" doesn't make your point valid, actually makes you appear to be a troll.

Those two were the most glaring problem. 2 average center halves who made average Honduras players look world class.
