It's now less than a week before what promises to be a fierce West Mids-East Mids clash between ourselves and Derby County in what has been dubbed the "£60 million game" - the payoff one club will get from the TV powers-that-be for simply being a Premiership side. Both sides have sold out their respective allocations at Wembley, so there should be a white-hot atmosphere. These two teams last met in the autumn, and the faces at the respective clubs have changed a bit since their previous meetings. Still, it shouldn't be hard to guess what type of game it's going to be. Billy Davies and Tony Mowbray both believe that the best defence is an attacking offence; expect both clubs to come out attacking and shooting.
I don't know what you're talking about. I lived a good part of my childhood in England and always used 'wanks'. Either way, West Brom's going to be in the Colaship next year with us.
Derby County 1 West Bromwich Albion 0 Today was one of my most frustrating days as a WBA fan. We pretty thoroughly shredded the Rams defence multiple times in both halves, but our final touch was poor. Meanwhile, one decent chance in the second half was all Derby needed, and they took it well. THE STORY OF OUR SEASON. We will have a different squad next season, and while I am certain we will again be contending for promotion... I've got a feeling it could be weaker. Who could be gone? Kamara? Gera? Koumas? I'm interested to see who the gaffer sees as integral to our plans for next season. Which brings my to my final point... I'm willing to support Tony Mowbray for one more season. He'd got us playing some good stuff at times, but sometimes to the detriment of our defence. As we learned during our previous promotions, sometimes you need to be able to grind out wins in order to succeed. If we aren't in a good position to get promoted next season... then I will be on the Mowbray Out bandwagon farily quickly. Long story short: we failed in our expectations for this season. Next season has possibilities, however. The faith has been shaken, but not stirred. COME ON YOU BAGGIES!!!
Re: Derby County 1 West Bromwich Albion 0 Koumas should definately be gone by next season. It's a wonder why he's even in the Championship to begin with.
Re: Derby County 1 West Bromwich Albion 0 Kamara I think will probably want to go... apart from the last few weeks, he has been class this season. Gera will likely be sold, but his stock has fallen a bit since his Premiership heyday. Koumas said he'd commit himself to the club if we'd gone up, but since we haven't we'll wait and see.
