That is one view, obviously a clear cut decision to you but I don't agree and not to me. Not such a simple situation or call on many different levels as evidenced by all the discussion we are having on this topic on the other WPS forum (where we are having an more in-depth discussion).

    Merlin:

Are you calling my reply short and with no point?

I Can make it more simple: In a 1-0 game what a stupid position to put yourself in as a defender. It was bad soccer! She made the center have to make a call and bingo go to the locker room.

And if you read my post yes it was a clear call...You need to take of your sol colored glasses!

More to the point it wasn't a good game or entertaining.

After watching the tapes, it does appear to me that the ref was the extra player on the field for Sky Blue. Calls seemed to be a bit more harsh against LA than vice versa (a PK could just have easily have been awarded to LA).
Falk probably deserved a yellow, but a red seemed over the top.
Credit to Sky Blue, however, for coming out with as much heart and energy as they did first half. I still think LA was the superior team in the league overall.

No, Merlin just has a different opinion from you. We all have those here and we discuss them without getting huffy about being right or wrong. No need to get your panties in a bunch.
