no bite to the attack, need to get width from the fullbacks, keep possession and try to get Nani, Ando and Danny some touches in central-ish areas.

I appreciate everything Giggs has done for the club, but it's time for him to call it quits. He offers us nothing we don't already have and Fergie feels obligated to give him games that would otherwise go to youth. Even in the center of the park he doesn't have the movement and workrate we need.

When Anderson brings the ball into space with speed and keeps it simple, he really adds something to our midfield. It's baffling that he finds it so hard to do that consistently.

We're being allowed to stroke it around freely in the midfield third, but once we start to approach the final third, everything just breaks down. Anderson has been too wasteful and put us under the kosh a few times with poor decisions. Hernandez has hardly got a touch of the ball. I shudder to think what our midfield would look like if Rooney wasn't dropping so deep, but partly because he is, I feel our attack has no bite, as someone put it.

When Valencia is at RB, he needs to get out of "beat your man to the line and cross it" mode. He keeps trying to beat players out of the back and it's going to end up costing us a goal.

The ease with which Braga are allowed to get to and play some decent stuff in and around our area is frightening. Abysmal first half, but it's becoming par for the course in Europe.

valencia would try to beat his man to the line and cross it if you played him in goals. he's a drone. probably the best drone in the world but still a drone.

Always the danger when we play a formation that benefits mostly from superior talent gets railroaded by playing inferior talent. Nothing against Cheech and Giggs, but drop Carrick and RvP in those spots and things look a lot different. smh. Cheech probably had 8 touches in that half.

Very poor game of football so far. But if we can somehow score one in the second half and then see out the game, I'll have no complaints.

No question. Also, I'm not going to say Cheech should never play for the club again, because he has his uses as a sub, but can we please just realize that he should never start another meaningful game for us again? (I consider this game as such)

It's a big ask, apart from the usual giants there are some other teams playing some good stuff.

I wouldn't go that far. The team is not creating chances, it is not his fault, he is finished when there is supply. There isn't. Rooney played two successful diagonal balls and the rest of his passes are backwards, he can't create. Welbeck is crap today. This is all due for me to a non existent midfield that has Giggs. If Giggs is not creating he is useless. We need Carrick to keep the ball and Cleverley with off ball movement.
