Hope we win. It should be 90 minutes of progressing to the next round and 2 mins to welcome a legend.

No chance. Eto'o is my guess, although I would like to see Ba get a run out.

It's kind of weird, but I almost forgot about the CL. I'd so much rather win the league this year. Don't think we can hang with Real/PSG or Bayern this year over 2 legs and even if we could, the league would mean so much more.

agreed. though lets go out to one of those teams so the young players can get the experience of what they will be up against if they want to win it later. we should be able to get past our current opponent so lets do that. would rather go out to a superior opponent and learn the lessons that brings and be the only english team to progress to the next round.

speaking of Real. Carlo built himself quite a CV in the last few years. it's nice to see him do well, couldn't happen to a nicer fellow. i always liked the guy, but just didn't see him succeeding with chelsea at the time he left. he's one of the few i still very much want to see do well, even if i'm not a huge Real fan. don't want this to turn into a debate on his merits here, just saying its nice to see such a likable and pleasent person in the world of football do well.

As long as we're not TOO welcoming

Tell you one thing, if we still had drogs, (even at the age of 130 or whatever it is), I'd be more certain of the win. I mean, what does THAT say about us atm :(

    No, I absolutely agree.

I know it's not meant to mean anything in modern footie but whether someone is a decent guy IS a factor in my attitude to him.

I did get a bit excited about our title chances when someone mentioned Fern's grandmother but then he refuted it. :(

Well, there's that, and then there's the beautiful attacking football that won a double, set the league goals record, unseated the three-time defending league champion, golden boot for DD, ...

JM has favored Eto'o at home and I think we'll see that trend continue. But something tells me Drogba is going to deliver some magic tonight and knock us out. 2-1 to Gala. We have so much trouble scoring and we 're looking exhausted.

Lamps and Matic in midfield or Mikel in place of one of them please… Our attacking 4 need to show that they can be more productive as a whole, been moaning about Hazard being our only saving grace in attack I'm starting to think it's a right winger/attacking mid we need more than a striker.

    Matic can't play. He's cup-tied.
