How do you blame that on cache, how?! He's been the only player that's given a shit.

I see, personally attack someone when your points come apart at the seems, top form. I'll reiterate, Lampard wasn't seeing playing minutes because it was clear to RDM that his body couldn't take it. That was even more obvious when he actually came on and repeatedly injured himself with muscle tears.

We're pretty ********ing awful, and there is no excuse for it. If I were Roman, I'd be pretty pissed over how much a shelled out this summer and the return I'm getting.

Agreed... and without having a CF I'm not sure how he thought it was all going to bolt together. :(

Nightmare for RDM. I fear his False 9 decision could blow up in his face. Ouch. Really like the guy, too.

Even if we win in two weeks, chances are iffy.

What was he supposd to do, giovinco was passed ash and that's what keepers do. The blame was on our shitty outfield players for not just that goal but the whole game

problem is it's head-to-head and then away goals between two tied sides that is the 1st tie breaker, not goal difference, so it I get my facts straight, if results stand as they are, Shakter are through with 10 points regardless of what happens on the last day as they had the better away goals record between Chelsea (2-1/3-2) so that means the only way Chelsea can qualify is if Shakter (who have already qualified) beats Juve on the final day... as a draw would put Juve through on the head-to-head record with Chelsea, am I correct?

So you're saying THAT'S what you mean by him not 'keeping fit on the pitch'? Anyway, I think he was available for some matches and still didn't play.

Also if you don't want people making personal attacks, (I thought it was more in the way of a pun but there we are), then stop being so aggressive as otherwise people will respond in kind, as you've found out before. Of course, on some of those occasions I've defended you... whether I'll make that mistake again remains to be seen :)

that and in a situation like that you have only a split second and once you DO decide there is no going back. we see that ashley may have been able to recover, cech couldn't tell when he started to come off his line, but once he started, he can't stop. i do think he should not have come out THAT far. but he's trying to rescue his team that were already 2-0 down. i'm not really going to be too upset about it.

We've looked down and out of the Champions League before, am I right?

Just saying. I'm not counting us out until the fat lady is actually singing. I learned my lesson from last season.

    great stuff

really should be our outlook considering we had lost it when Muller scored and then when Bayern got a late penner and then when Mata missed his pen in the shootout

sadly I just dont have that same confidence in this situation

The thing about the false no. 9 is that it works fine if you've got Iniesta and Xavi, fellas with experience of playing that way. Wwe've got good players but some of whom lack experience so it was ALWAYS gonna be a big ask.
I think we're out, tbh. Still, always the league :)

    1 Shakhtar Donetsk 5 3 1 1 12 7 5 10
    2 Juventus 5 2 3 0 11 4 7 9
    3 Chelsea 5 2 1 2 10 9 1 7
    4 FC Nordsjælland 5 0 1 4 3 16 -13 1

So iinm we have to beat Nord, Shak have to beat Juve for us to qualify, and the only way we're top of the group is if we get 4 goals more than shak?
