All we had to do is hold our 2-0 lead at the Bridge when all this began.

    Mikel off?

Awfully risky. How are we going to win the ball in the middle now?

I'm sure someone's already asked but, what's the story with Sturridge?

As soon as Mikel goes off, we have no way to press them or take the ball off them in the middle of the field. All those attackers don't do us any good if we can't get the ball in the first place.

I know I said Torres wasn't getting the job done but I meant we had to have someone INSTEAD of him... not nobody at all. I also think junking Frank as we have done, when he's one of the few experienced fellas we have in the AM area, has been a mistake.

    Still, next season, eh?! :(

Really bad display in this second half. Nary a chance, save the one free kick.

    Frank has been injured.

and yea, the worst thing we could have done was play with NO striker. i think torres would have understood if we played studge, and since he was injured, go ahead and play torres. but for us to resort to no striker at all is a real kick in the teeth to torres and you can see it.

I hate Juventus and their beards. I hope they cough up hairballs at their next meal.

If Juventus hold on, they deserve the victory, but not a two-goal margin.

Damn Oscar is indecisive, and so is Hazard. Indecision is killing us. We need to be more cold-blooded.

Whether he's been injured for part of the period is irrelevant. He's also been fit on occasions and STILL not played.

umm, as soon as he was fit again, he played, and got injured again. if anything we rushed him back. there may have been a couple of games that we used a first choice of Ram and Mikel, but to say he's been junked i think might be a bit much.

the hell it is, the whole reason he wasn't seeing the pitch was he couldn't keep fit when on

I am going to sound like a broken record, but taking off Mikel was a colossal mistake. By moving Oscar back into that position, we only took Oscar's ability out of the final third and put it in the middle third, where it is not as valuable. And we also lost our one ball-winning player.

That substitution was effectively Torres for Oscar. RDM really lost his way with it.

    Well, f***.

At least Juve and Shakhtar face each other next. So, mathematically we're still in the running to progress. It could come down to goal differential.

I seem to remember him running through half their team and setting up Hazard for a great chance.
