we're saying the same thing but with a different outlook. a 4231 is precisely what i had in mind but rooney or kagawa out wide as they would probably be stepping in each other's toes trying to play centrally. if we're playing rooney in midfield so that welbeck can get on the left, i don't think it's worth it.

I think our instructions are to hit it long to forwards. If we ban our CMs from doing that, we'll be fine. Gala can't stick with us through short passing, don't know why we aren't doing that a bit more.

Phil Jones and co need to stop with the hospital balls though.

And I take back my enthusiasm for Buttner, his first touch should come with a discount on a 2nd and 3rd touch.

The game hasn't quite started in Anderson's timeZone yet.

That whole drama and multiple shot sequence comes from Fletcher losing his man. My god that angers me.

    lol!

Gala's coach almost smashed one of his own coaching staff in the face with a water bottle.

We just planned an elaborate set piece around Anderson's ability to strike the ball well while on the move. smh.

Welbeck did amazingly well there. If only he could shoot with his left...

EDIT: And Powell hit's the crossbar.

Darren Fletcher has an uncanny ability to turn into trouble.

If Eboue has to go off at the half, does that mean he can start live tweeting?

Every game I watch when Eboue plays, he spends half the time on the ground rolling around.

Entertaining game. Good change from the usual away games in europe.

Will be interesting to see changes.

Can Powell be regularly in contention when we try a three man midfield.

and the other half throwing himself to the ground so he can roll there. Not his fault really. He's a beta tester for Tide.

I suppose, but why? Cleverley > Powell.

I thought Clevs was our best mid in that half.

gotta give to eboue, i've never seen a man ride so hard for a club and manager who discarded him as surplus.

Anderson always looks like he's running uphill.
