------------Welbeck-------Cheech Clevs-------Anderson----Powell------Fletch Or is it -------------Welbeck-------Cheech -------Anderson-----Powell-----Cleverley ----------------------Fletch ?
It a risk worth taking. Sorry, there's no risk whatsoever today with playing young players. If anybody would've complained about putting a second string, they can just suck it because they weren't good enough to take points from United. And last 3 seasons Carrick was a slow season started and was somewhat rested for the second part of the season where he always performed excellent. But this season he's played in almost every game, if not every game, and he'll burn out in February or March.
games played this season (all comps; starts and subs): Rafael - 17 RVP - 16 Carrick - 15 Hernandez - 15
Diamond with Ando on the right, Clevs on the left, Powell in the hole. Look for Powell, Clevs and Welbeck to rotate between the hole, the left and the 2nd striker spot.
nah... it'll be clev on the left and powell on the right. this is fergie, he needs 2 people wide, 2 people up front and 2 people in the middle of the pitch. 4-4-2 or die.
It isn't hard to predict. When we play diamond and Ando and Clevs play, they always play inverted. It is one benefit of having Ando on the pitch, when he goes on a run, it is useful for him to be able to cut inside and be dangerous. EDIT: I think we will spank Gala tonight. Even though this is a weaker team from us against a stronger team than on the weekend, playing players in roles they can function in is actually beneficial. I wonder how great our team would be if our best players got used in ways that benefited rather than hampered them?
^^^ that does sound good in theory but i don't know if such a formation exists. to me, our best front 4 in terms of talent is rvp, rooney, kagawa, nani. someone has to sacrifice to make that work.
We should give Buttner some game time in the league when we can. Evra's form has picked up, but it is nice to see him out there. He's faster and stronger and more determined or at least 2 out of those 3 than every winger he's faced so far.
Not hard to do. Rest or rotate one of those players or play Rooney or Kagawa "from" the left, using the fullback to provide width. Or do this: ------------------RvP Welbeck--------Kagawa---------Nani ----------Rooney-------Carrick
Welbeck has GOT to be ********ing kidding with that take. Are you shitting me? I think Berbatov or Scholes would have struggled to control that. WTF???
I quite enjoyed it. If you foul someone, foul them damnit. Dude looked bemused. Yes, but not English. 122845 I bar Young and Valencia, this is team try-hard. We have a lot of enthusiastic players on the pitch.
