How did they mess up the draw the first time?

When they pulled the slip out of the bowl, the CONCACAF official thought it said "Luis Angel Landin" instead of "Luis Angel Firpo" and thought it was a misplaced contest entry for a year's supply of free KFC

Woo! Houston finally gets a game in the Caribbean! Good draw too. We should advance.

Two things: (1) we should have advanced a few years and lost to Metapan in the final game and (2) is there any way we can get Yardley back on the microphone for the radio call at Arabe Unido?

Expect some antics like dives/flops and faking injuries for time wasting from these Panamanians.

    Dynamo @ Árabe Unido, all-time:

    08/26/09 AU 1-1 HOU (Youtube)
    09/22/09 HOU 5-1 AU (Youtube)

    That's 1-0-1 with 6 goals scored and 2 allowed.

It would be sweet if the CCL matchday away to Arabe Unido is only a few days off of the Panama v USA game to close the Hex. I'm already planning on going to the USA game ... so the chance to mix in a Dynamo CCL game would make it an epic trip.

If not -- I like the idea of T&T trip. Who is up for some calypso music?

OK. Just used Newtex's handy-dandy all fixtures thread to realize that this is impossible. CCL day #6 is 9/25/13, while Panama v USA is 10/15/13.

The CCL dates on my All Fixtures list were guesses. They are not official yet.

    Most likely around $600.

the Trinidad airport is Piarco. haven't done the research on the team yet. W Connection according to wiki in two stadiums.. they don't seem too far from the airport actually... Stadium they play in usually is Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella. well i'm not that great with maps.maybe 50-60 miles from the airports to stadiums.

I'm skeptical that it would work out anyway. The CCL dates are purposely kept away from WCQs. The PAN-USA game is on a Tuesday with the USA-JAM game the previous Friday. The closest that CONCACAF would put a CCL date is Tuesday, October 22. And the Dynamo would get that changed to October 23 or 24 since we have a league game on October 20.

Anyone remember Arabe Unido's main scoring threat in 2009?

That guy was garbage for Alianza last season he rode the pine and when they did put him in he struggled. I still find it amazing that Panama calls him up as compared to Nicolas Muñoz who has been a scorer for Metapan.

DAU -- Andres Santamaria (caution) 62
DAU -- Omar Camargo (ejection; Second Caution) 67
DAU -- Manuel Mosquera (caution) 74
HOU -- Andrew Hainault (ejection; Second Caution) 81
HOU -- Bobby Boswell (caution) 82
HOU -- Stuart Holden (caution) 86
HOU -- Stuart Holden (ejection; Second Caution) 86

    Part II in Houston:
AUN -- Omar Camargo (caution; Reckless Foul) 18
AUN -- Alejandro Velez (caution; Simulation) 26
AUN -- Andres Santamaria (caution; Unsporting Behavior) 51
AUN -- Omar Camargo (ejection; Violent Conduct) 56
HOU -- Stuart Holden (caution; Dissent) 57
AUN -- Camilo Aguirre (caution; Dissent) 62

    But really this:

    Scoring Summary:
