Decent game. Both team could have snuck a goal in here and there.

Return leg, la vuelta at Toluca, is where it will be decided.

Cruz Azul wins the 2014 title on away goals. That gives Cruz Azul 6 championships in either the CONCACAF Champions' Cup or League. That's the most for any club.

The 2014-2015 tournament starts in August.

I wished away goals were not used in the Grand Final. Last night's return leg, ida, was terrific footy entertainment for a neutral viewer. I did not want to the game to end.
Tremendous atmosphere and end to end, fast paced action. Which in Mexican league football is unheard off 'cept when it comes down to these ramped up encounters.
I called Blue Cross to be winner back last year and here they are. Good on Chaco Jimenenz and his squad.

To be fair, that's the case in CONCACAF, the AFC and the CAF. The Copa Libertadores is the only competition to have a two-leg Final with no away-goal tiebreaker (perhaps the OFC as well, but their format changes every year).

    Correct.
Then there is the"European Super Bowl".
    A one off encounter.
