Champion PRI holds try outs in FL

The Puerto Rico Islanders FC, 2010 USSF D-2 League Champions, announced a special open tryout on December 14th, 15th and 16th at the Seacrest Soccer Complex in Delray Beach, Florida. Coach Colin Clarke, a former international for Northern Ireland and Head Coach of the Islanders, will be evaluating potential players for the 2011 season.
The three-time CONCACAF Champions League participants, who are also the 2010 CFU (Caribbean Football Union) Champions, are the first Puerto Rican soccer team to win both a Caribbean as well as a North American Soccer Championship.

Coach Colin Clarke, a former international for Northern Ireland and Head Coach of the Islanders, will be evaluating potential players for the 2011 season.

TRYOUTS INFORMATION

Schedule and location:

Tuesday, March 1st 1:00 p.m. – Registration 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday, March 2nd 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Thursday, March 3rd 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Players need to arrive by 1:00 p.m. on March 1st to finalize their registration process at Sylvan Lake Park. Players must be present for all sessions to be considered.

Registration:

The registration fee to attend the Puerto Rico Islanders Player Combine is $150.00 USD. To attend the tryouts, Players must fill out both, the Registration Form and the Waiver Form. These forms and payment must be received by February 22nd.

Accommodations:

All traveling Players must secure their own accommodations, meals, travel documents and local transportation for the tryouts.

Payment:

Credit card payment available through PayPal or make money orders (NO CHECKS) payable to PR Islanders FC for $150.00 USD (includes registration fee only). A $75.00 USD minimum deposit is required to reserve a place in the tryouts. Any remaining balances can be paid in cash prior to the first session on March 1st.
