    Hi people:

I'm trying to know the style (deep-lying forward, out-and-out, target man, etc.) of some centre-forwards before 1900. I've got some names, do you know more?

    Gilbert Oswald Smith
    John Henry Price
    John Goodall
    Fred Geary
    John Devey
    Jack Southworth

Bloomer played alongside John Goodall in both Derby County & NT in the 1890s.
Bloomer as Inside Right and J.Goodall as CF.

btw, it wasn't surpringsinly that IFs topped the topscorers list in the Pyramid era. Since
most of them played a role similar to Puskas or young Pele. Meanwhile the Pyramid CFs played a similar role of Sindelar.

Puskas did play as inside left in PYRAMID formation (2 3 5)
    Pele never played in pyramid (but a modified one so called 4 2 2 2 or 4 2 4)
